Former President Trump has been out of the media spotlight in recent weeks, and he may try to keep it that way by delaying his vice presidential nomination until the Republican National Convention. All the media attention is on Biden’s degenerating mental acuity following his dismal debate performance.

Although we won’t find out who Trump’s vice president will be until the convention, his son Donald Trump Jr. made it clear in a recent episode of his show who he would like to see as Trump’s vice presidential candidate. podcast “Triggered.”

When we talk about the vice presidency, what do you think now? You know, everyone knows I was kind of for JD Vance.

He then went on to discuss some of the other candidates. Speaking about former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson, Don Jr. said:

He was “too nice to deal with the sociopaths we would have to deal with.”

To Governor Doug Burgum (R-ND), Don Jr. said:

Smart guy. North Dakota. He understands this. He’s built a really good company in the technology space. I think this is someone who could actually make some money for America for a change, instead of us just giving away all our money.

Jr. said the following about Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL):

I have a good relationship with Marco, but there is something to be said for having someone who is a bit more established.

And that’s why it’s an advantage to have someone from outside the establishment who can provide you with additional protection from that establishment.

Former President Trump will be a rally on Tuesday in Miami, in the presence of Marco Rubio and his family. This will definitely stimulate conversations about the vice presidential candidates.

Jr. added:

I don’t have any inside information, of course. If I did, I probably wouldn’t tell you anyway.

It doesn’t sound so much like Jr. wanted to drop a hint about who will be Trump’s vice president, but rather who he personally thinks would be the best person for the job.

As I wrote before, I personally believe that Vance would be the ideal vice president of the options currently on the table for the reasons stated in the previous article.

It is unclear whether Trump will nominate a senator or not, but each of the candidates mentioned has its advantages and disadvantages. Ultimately, it all comes down to voters turning out in droves and casting their ballots in November.
