Joe Biden’s mental decline and dwindling re-election prospects have dominated the news lately, but his opponent is still preparing for the Republican National Convention, which begins on Monday.
Former President Trump is not staying mute, and took to social media on Wednesday to slam George Clooney after the actor wrote an editorial calling on Joe Biden to abandon his re-election campaign. “We are not going to win in November with this president,” Clooney said.
Trump, not known for his subtlety but notable for respecting loyalty, considered this a dastardly move by the highly partisan Democratic actor, comparing him to a rodent: “He turned on Crooked Joe like the rats they both are.”
And now phony movie actor George Clooney, who has never made a movie that is even remotely great, is getting involved. He has turned against Crooked Joe, like the two rats. What does Clooney know about anything? He is using the Democrats’ “argument” that Biden, the WORST president in the world,…

What does Clooney know about anything? He uses the Democrats’ “argument” that Biden, the WORST President in the history of the United States, “saved our democracy.” No, Crooked Joe was the one who weaponized law enforcement against his political opponent, who caused the most devastating INFLATION in our country’s history, who embarrassed our nation in Afghanistan, and whose insane open borders policy allowed millions of people to flood into our country illegally, many from prisons and mental institutions. Crooked Joe Biden did not save our democracy, he brought it to its knees. Clooney should retire from politics and go back to television. He never really liked movies!!!
Clooney’s editorial caused quite an uproar, and Trump himself had already posted a amusing meme before this latest broadside.
Trump just dropped a really amusing troll of Biden and George Clooney
Dave Portnoy enlightens George Clooney: If Biden was so far away, why did you wait three weeks to tell us?
The Biden campaign team’s reaction to George Clooney’s editorial is like something out of a textbook
Trump criticized Clooney for his submissive portrayal of Biden and his “successes,” noting that even when the actor stabs the president in the back, he still tries to Gaslight America.
“What does Clooney know about anything? He uses the Democrats’ ‘argument’ that Biden, the WORST president in the history of the United States, ‘saved our democracy,'” Trump said.
Clooney struck an apologetic tone in his commentary – bluntly declaring, “I love Joe Biden” and that he believes in his “character” and “morals” – but claimed experienced its decline first hand at a fundraiser last month.
“It’s devastating to say this, but the Joe Biden I was with at the fundraiser three weeks ago was not the Joe ‘Big F-ing Deal’ Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all saw at the debate,” Clooney wrote.
Clooney also written“Joe Biden is a hero; he saved democracy in 2020.” Joe has proven time and time again that he is anything but a hero, and since 2020 he has attacked democracy far more than he has “saved” it.
Trump is right to point out this utter nonsense to Clooney.
Many, including myself, have asked – while several Democratic politicians, liberal media outlets and celebrities have called for the president to resign and admitted to being utterly shocked that the president is showing signs of decline – where have you been all this time? Why did it take three weeks? after Clooney held a 28 million US dollars Biden’s fundraiser to share the news with us? Biden has been showing signs of decline since his basement campaign in 2020, and media outlets like RedState have been reporting on it the whole time. For Clooney, the New York Times and their ilk to feign shock and astonishment is the height of dishonesty.
Trump initially maintained an unusual level of silence after the debate, allowing the Democrats to implode. But he couldn’t lend a hand himself and spoke up earlier this month with another comic post in which he gave Joe some campaign tips:
Trump has some surprising – and amusing – campaign tips for Joe Biden
Biden is holding a occasional press conference Thursday night and agreeing to speak for an interview with NBC to air Monday. Will this be enough to silence calls for his resignation? At this point, that seems pretty unlikely.
