If someone only follows the mainstream press, they probably would have no idea how bad Joe Biden’s recent appearance at a Juneteenth event at the White House was. Because it took place before the debate that changed everything, only conservative media outlets bothered to report on the president’s embarrassing and disturbing evening, from his look in the audience to the incoherence of his speech.

There’s a lot I could say about that. Like the fact that Biden’s arms are atrophied at his side as he tries to feign some sort of emotion without actually moving. And yes, there’s a guy in a sequin dress sitting three chairs away from him, because of course there is. There’s even an extremely awkward fist bump where Biden seems to lose his mind for a moment.
Then there was the President’s speech. It went about as well as any speech he has given in recent years.

At the time, it wasn’t unthreatening for the press to report on all this. It would have helped the Republicans, and the “cheap fakes” story was just getting started. After the debate, however, that vigorous has changed, and the press sees Biden as a clear and present threat to the Democrats’ chances in November. They want him gone yesterday, and the knives are already out.
So how bad was this Juneteenth performance? While my analysis of the evening was based on reasonable observations from afar, Participant the event are now I speakand things got even worse for Biden. A Democrat who called The article implied that Biden was drugged.

But some who had attended a concert at the White House just weeks earlier said Biden’s performance at the debate only “confirmed” the exact opposite for them.
Several people who attended a Juneteenth celebration at the White House last month – just 17 days before the debate – said in interviews with ABC News that they had concerns about President Biden after seeing him in person at the event. And they say others in attendance they spoke with did, too.
“We didn’t really know what to make of it, but we thought it was different and he seemed changed,” Texas Rep. Ron Reynolds, a Democrat, said in an interview with ABC News.
It wasn’t just Reynolds, though. Several other people told ABC News that there was something very wrong with the president.
The people ABC News spoke to — including state lawmakers and a former Obama White House staffer — described Biden as “detached” and “stiff” at the event and his speech as “incomprehensible.” One lawmaker said her assessment of the president at the event came after she had privately expressed her concerns to White House staff months earlier — joking that they could “patch the president together” before the election.
Better delayed than never, I guess, when it comes to the press finally reporting on these things. However, one should never forget that it was those of us in the conservative media who told people the truth. Rest assured, as soon as it suits them, the mainstream press will immediately go back to protecting the Democrats, including a possible successor to Biden. This is all calculated. They smell blood in the water and believe that if Biden stays in office, Trump will win. That is the only reason they are suddenly doing their jobs.
Regardless, it’s crazy that we’re getting all these reports about how bad Biden is doing. I never imagined things could get this combative. It’s just unheard of in the newfangled era for the press to turn against a Democrat like this, no matter what the motivation. These are exhilarating times, and I suspect they’re going to get even more exhilarating.
