Defendants and liberal media are doing a lot of columnism when it comes to Joe Biden’s appearance during his NATO press conference on Thursday.
As we’ve seen, the Biden team is even trying to claim that he’s done a good job on foreign policy. That’s just delusional. That’s probably a strenuous sell when you can’t even wrap your head around the fact that your political opponent isn’t the vice president and the man you funneled all our money to in Ukraine isn’t Vladimir Putin. That’s what most people will remember and take away from the press conference — perhaps along with a general sense of Biden’s delusion.

Even Rachel Maddow recognized that Biden’s comments were problematic. What she said was pretty entertaining.

Maddow pointed out that Biden’s statements about the incumbents’ “polling numbers” were “not factual” and did not reflect the true story.
“That’s troubling,” Maddow said, because it makes her worry that Biden “is receiving information about his policy stance that may not be based in reality, that may be more optimistic than it actually is.”
What a thought! You mean Biden said something that isn’t based in reality? It has to be a tag that ends in “g.” Biden constantly refuses to face reality. Oh, and Rachel? When someone says something they know is factually untrue, it’s called a “lie.”
She’s right that Biden’s numbers are a problem. CNN’s Harry Enten has shown that Biden is doing very poorly for Democrats in lightweight of past numbers. Biden’s numbers were much better in 2020 and you would have to go back 24 years to when Republicans were leading in the national vote at this point in July. That’s how much trouble Biden is in and it’s bad when even Maddow is pointing it out.

Also, Biden may be delusional, at least in part because he’s been fed a fair amount of nonsense by Maddow and MSNBC, not to mention whatever nonsense his inner circle may have fed him to peaceful him down. Maddow talks about it not being based in reality – has she been looking into this Russia-collusion delusion lately? It’s a substantial part of this “unreality” that she thinks he’s indulging in.

This also means she is admitting that Biden may be being lied to by the Democrats. So she is basically insulting his inner circle/the people who feed him information.
There must be something in the air/something to talk about, because David Axelrod said something similar about Biden’s bad numbers: “It sounds like Biden’s team hasn’t been very open with him about what the data shows.”

This doesn’t just mean trouble when he is given false information and can’t bear the truth.
