Not surprisingly, amid the apparent coronation of Vice President Kamala Harris, Democrats and their media allies are busy Trot from the “race” and “woman” cards to downplay legitimate criticism of Harris’ disastrous record.
A perfect example of this was her reaction to a Fox News segment on Wednesday about Harris and how she chosen to skip Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress in order to give a speech to a fraternity.
A video clip shared by the account “Bad Fox Graphics” on Twitter/X shows co-host Brian Kilmeade calling them out for it. The Twitter user claimed that Kilmeade became “completely racist” and referred to the sorority as “colored”:
Fox News Alert: @foxandfriends Becomes completely racist
BRIAN: She’s not going to the Prime Minister’s joint session of Congress… She’d rather be speaking to a fraternity in the summer, a COLORED fraternity, like she’s not getting out of there!@LawrenceBJones3 said nothing

DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison, who was last seen prioritizing the significant things by picking fights with random Twitter users with low followings, pounced on the clip and exploited it. called out Co-host Lawrence Jones, because he supposedly just sat there and didn’t criticize Kilmeade:
“A COLORED SORINESS”…in the year 2024 on national television…this clown thought it was right and appropriate to employ the term “colored” to describe a respected and historic African American sorority.
But what’s worse… a black man sat on the sofa a few feet away and didn’t correct him. He was as serene as a church mouse.
Get ready for racism and misogyny folks…but let’s give them a warning: America is now “unburdened” and we are not going back!!!
Democratic writer Claire McCaskill also got involved in the action and tried to expose Jones:
This guy, like his colleague on @FoxNews says “colored sisterhood.” And he just sits there. pic.twitter.com/YHQJq1yEwJ

Jones, of course, did not want to hear anything about it and corrected the transcript to say that Kilmeade had actually said “College” and challenging Harrison on a one-on-one debate about how Democratic policies have negatively impacted communities of color:
I’m the black one. You’re so damn dishonest. He said college.
But that’s all you have. You know that the nonsense you’re promoting only brings death, poverty and destruction to our black communities. You’re welcome on the show anytime to discuss it.
Me and you.
For the sake of completeness, I’d like to note that POLITICO reporter Eugene Daniels, who also shared the clip, ultimately did the right thing and deleted his tweet, citing Fox News’ statement on the clip:
I spoke to Fox News about this and plan to speak to Brian when he’s off the air. They made it clear to me that he said college, not colored.
The sound is distorted, but I’ll take Brian and his team at their word. pic.twitter.com/PNNV15xbfe

McCaskill, on the other hand, later attempted to clarify, but left her original tweet standing (at the time of this writing):
Sorry if he said college. Hard to say…and I probably thought the other way because Rep was sending out “DEI” messages. (Your shorthand for “not a white man”) https://t.co/MpfcSJjBbn

In other words: “false but true” or whatever.
First of all, “that guy” and “the black man” have a name: Lawrence Jones. Personally, I find it insulting that Democrats don’t bother to remember the names of the black conservatives they vilify.
Reducing people to their race/gender and simply referring to them as “the black guy” or “that guy” (or “that woman”) is highly demeaning and goes against the Democrats’ mantra of “respecting diversity and differing views.” It’s no surprise that they do this, of course, because that’s just who they are – but it’s worth mentioning for the sake of completeness.
But that being said, even though Kilmeade did nothing wrong here, Harrison’s knee-jerk reaction is just another reminder that the DNC and its media apologists will dig under rocks, behind couches, and anywhere else to have an excuse to play the racism card. And they won’t hesitate to play it when it’s not warranted (which will be most of the time).
Here, discipline in messaging is key. To quote my colleague Bonchie, “Beating Harris will require discipline and a well-planned political attack.” Moreover, “she has a past, and it needs to be carefully and strategically dissected so that it is visible to every American.”
Jones delivered a similar message that Republicans should ignore talk of Kamala being “a DEI hire” and instead focus on their policy positions:
I know the game. I literally said this morning… this would be the most racist election ever. pic.twitter.com/cXObmQmlu1

Enough said.
