The Democrats and their compliant media tried to create the impression that former President Donald Trump was withdrawing from the debates with Kamala Harris.
What the Trump team actually said was that because of all the machinations of the Democrats who pushed aside Joe Biden and then appointed Kamala Harris without even having a primary for the office, it was not yet officially clear who the party’s nominee was and that they should not waste their time preparing anything until there was an official nominee.

This is not a “backtracking.” But it does show once again the bias of the media. The problem here is not the Republicans, but the Democrats who are turning “democracy” on its head because they know they would go under with Biden.
With this statement, Trump countered Harris and made it clear how illegitimate her position was at that time.

However, this is not true, as there was no agreement to have a debate with Harris.
What’s even funnier about this claim is that it was Biden who agreed to the debate, and it was Biden who “dropped out” – or more accurately, was pushed aside by his own party because he was so clearly beaten by Trump in the debate and was so off track that they knew he would lose the election. The “weakness” here lies entirely with the Democrats.

That’s the key thing Democrats don’t want to admit – that this election by people pretending to be “saving democracy” was anything but democratic. Kamala is the elite’s choice, pushed on people because Biden showed how incompetent he is in the debate. And Democrats don’t want to remember how bad Kamala was in their last debate, when she was soundly beaten by Tulsi Gabbard and knocked out of the race in 2020.
