There is a up-to-date narrative from the left about the Republican presidential candidates – note: They are strange!
Jake Tapper from CNN pointed out on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday, while speaking with Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, that the lawmaker appears to be the originator of this up-to-date tactic after Democrats — before the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump about two weeks ago — had railed nonstop against the Republican candidate, calling him an “existential threat to democracy” and the like. Walz explained that he continues to believe these fear-mongering statements, but that it bothers him that Trump talks about random things like “shocking sharks” and the fictional antagonist character “Hannibal Lector” at rallies.
Walz may be the one we have to thank for this recent turnaround (so to speak), appearing among other Kamala Harris and Democrat surrogates on the Sunday Show circuit. One of them was Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who sat down with CBS’ “Face The Nation” and dished out this garbage to Americans about Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH):
Donald Trump’s nomination of JD Vance as his running mate “could be one of the best things he’s ever done for the Democrats.” @SenSchumer says.
“Every day it comes out that Vance did something more extreme, more strange, more unpredictable… I bet President Trump is sitting there scratching his head… pic.twitter.com/hxNUFyklfi

After praising the “record” of Biden and Harris, the senator’s voice takes on a threatening tone as he “compares” them to the “Trump-Vance ticket”:
That is extreme. Project 2025 shows that we are taking away women’s rights, taking away working people’s rights and only helping the very rich. That would even be a threat to our democracy.
But it was Vance that the New York legislature wanted to smear, while invent a fantasy about Donald Trump, who hopes against all hope that he can now find some excuse to immediately remove him from the Republican electoral list:
“Vance seems more unpredictable and more extreme than President Trump, and I bet President Trump is sitting there scratching his head, wondering, ‘Why did I pick this guy?'” Schumer said Sunday on “Face the Nation.”
The New York Democrat, who serves with Vance in the Senate, called Vance’s inclusion in the candidacy an “incredibly needy choice” for Republicans and suggested that Trump may change his mind in the coming days.
“He has a choice: Does he keep Vance on the ballot?” Schumer said, suggesting that this could burden the ballot with Vance’s “baggage.” “Or does he choose someone up-to-date? It’s his decision.”

You can watch Schumer invent the scenario in the clip above if you can stomach it—which I don’t recommend. More entertaining is the next clip from the GOP guest who followed him—Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC).
Graham seemed to relish the chance to dispel the dishonest rumor campaign progressives have waged against Vance since Trump’s nomination. The moderator asked him if it was a political mistake for Vance to “keep talking about Americans without children when it comes to a national election campaign.”

JD Vance makes first public comments since the media picked up on his 2021 “childless cat ladies” remark
And let’s just say he didn’t want to know anything about it, inform the substitute moderatorRobert Costa, chief election and campaign correspondent for CBS News, explained how ridiculous the poll was:
Regard:
.@LindseyGrahamSCwho claims to have no children, defends JD Vance’s comments about childless Americans: “You should never say anything that hurts someone’s feelings, but if you look at all of these interviews of JD, he talked about how the Democratic Party … pic.twitter.com/wz2toBdwpr

(And although it is not part of the scope of this article, Watch this clip (of Graham trying his best not to burst out laughing when the moderator asks him about Trump’s statement that Christians won’t have to vote after this election cycle. Costa’s horrified expression at Graham’s amusement is satisfying.)
This answer is just so excellent that one can only hope that Graham will be used regularly across the country to promote the positive, family-oriented message that the Trump campaign (and now Vance campaign) is promoting.
Something tells me the left’s supposed concerns about Vance’s craziness have more to do with, well, money than cat-herding and marriage:
Vice presidential candidate JD Vance hosted a private lunch with Oklahoma City politicians and raised over two million dollars in campaign funds.
