Following Monday’s stock market crash – the Dow lost more than 1,000 points, or nearly three percent, while other markets around the world also collapsed – the Trump War Room released an explosive commercial blaming current Vice President and likely Democratic presidential candidate Harris for the “Kamala crash.”
We’ve seen some good campaign ads from the Trump campaign in the past, but this one really made me laugh. They didn’t have to do much other than shove clips of Cackling Kamala next to the actual headlines of the day.
Here’s how to get started:
1. ANNOUNCER: Let’s go, check them out [stock indexes] Some would call it “history in the making.”
2. ANNOUNCER: We have never lost 1,000 points, not even during the day on the NASDAQ.
CUT TO: A ecstatic Kamala Harris.
KAMALA [grinning from ear to ear]: The Bidenomics strategy works. It works!
I have to laugh at this point. Of course, it’s the editing that makes it amusing; she didn’t actually say that today. In fact, the Biden-Harris team stopped using the term Bidenomics months ago because they realized no one was buying their gaslighting.
The ad continued to show grim economic news, followed by clips of Harris giggling and touting “Bidenomics!” as if it were some modern miracle cure. Just let her talk. Her record (or lack thereof) speaks for itself and provides a remarkably effective critique of her qualifications for the top job.

As “Bidenomics” roils the world, the nation’s eyes will turn to Trump
Team Biden is moving away from promoting “Bidenomics.” It’s time.
Maybe Trump headquarters read Joe Cunningham from RedState?
Kamala Harris said in 2023: “Bidenomics works.” Republicans should not let voters forget that.
My favorite moment was when financial journalist Charles Payne of the Fox Business Network perfectly summed up what so many Americans have experienced since this team came into office:
What you are seeing on the stock market right now is what Americans have been feeling for three years…
Exactly, Mr. Payne. While the stock market under this regime has not been the total disaster some had predicted (at least so far), average people are not feeling the effects of Bidenflation and high interest rates. In fact, their hearts are racing every time they see their grocery bills.
The Republican presidential candidate posted numerous jabs at Harris on social media, noting that she had already contributed to the destruction of San Francisco and that we don’t need her to do the same to the rest of the country:
This ad is a clever way to let Kamala herself tell her story. And what a story it is, as RedState’s Bonchie points out. Her greatest achievement seems to be breaking the record for most tie-breaking votes in the Senate – many of which led to Adoption of massive spending packages which led to the steep inflation that we have seen. Well done, Kamala.

My unsolicited advice to the Trump War Room: Just show Kamala’s words and actions tied to the reality of what’s going on in the real world, like you’ve done here. Rinse, lather, repeat.
