The Democrats’ “strange” attack on JD Vance is truly a bizarre thing.
Vance embodies the American dream: he was born into indigent and arduous circumstances, worked his way up through talent and challenging work alone, served his country, went to Yale, wrote a notable book, became a US senator and is now running for vice president.
He’s a arduous candidate to attack, which is why desperate Democrats have tried to portray the American dream as “weird” – while promoting free vasectomies and abortions at their convention. But that’s not “weird.”
Tim Walz is the Howard Dean scream incarnate, spreading false stories about his military service, his rank, and even IVF. This is beyond odd; it simply leads to disqualification because he is so fraudulent.
During his speech to the DNC on Wednesday night, Walz made another strange and false attempt to attack Vance for attending Yale in an attempt to make him appear “elite.” He claimed that he lived in a miniature town and that none of the students in his class had gone to Yale.
Walz: “I had 24 kids in my high school class and none of them went to Yale.”

How bizarre is it that the party of elites, which has Oprah Winfrey and Hollywood types, is trying to attack the Ivy League? Did he forget, or simply overlook, that on the same night, all the Democrats on the campaign trail went to the Ivy League, and some went to Yale, most notably Bill Clinton, who spoke before him?
Governor Tim Walz again attacked Senator JD Vance for his Yale law degree.
The attack has now become an integral part of the waltz routine.
Not mentioned? All the Democrats who were on stage for Walz last night also attended elite Ivy League universities. Like Vance, some are even Yale students. pic.twitter.com/z78bD9JVnd

In attendance on previous evenings were Barack Obama, who studied at Harvard and Columbia, as well as Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and Hillary Clinton, both of whom attended Yale Law School.
My colleague Susie Moore looked at this topic in depth in her Thursday morning minute.

Republican CNN commentator Scott Jennings sharply criticized this ridiculous attack, and Yale graduate Van Jones agreed that it was wrong.
.@ScottJenningsKY: Something Walz does is so weird to me – he attacks JD Vance for going to Yale. I don’t understand that. JD grew up in poverty and worked challenging to get an education… I don’t understand what he’s trying to convey to every indigent small-town kid out there. pic.twitter.com/lXglHtjtFc

And finally, JD Vance himself put an end to this nonsense and pointed out how gloomy Walz is about it.
JD VANCE REACTS: “I grew up in a very poor family. My grandmother raised me even though she didn’t graduate from high school. I’m proud that she worked her ass off and worked until she died to give me opportunities… and I was able to live the American dream.” https://t.co/1crslcisqO pic.twitter.com/zw58q2sA2U

But they have nothing to offer the American people except attacks, hatred and division.
