“Journalist” shown no mercy after ridiculous description of Tim Walz’s “authentic” DNC speech

As RedState reported, Kamala Harris’s vice presidential candidate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz,’s speech during the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night consisted of twenty minutes of lies and stolen bravado.

Also interspersed with the speech were other bizarre attacks on Republican vice presidential candidate and Senator JD Vance (R-OH) for having the nerve to make something of himself rather than remaining needy and uneducated and attending Yale for a time. This despite the fact that a number of Democratic politicians, including some who were on stage in Chicago this week, also claim to have attended Ivy League universities such as Yale.

“I grew up in Butte, Nebraska, a town of 400 people. There were 24 kids in my high school class. And none of them went to Yale,” Walz said disparagingly. announced at one point during his remarks.

Although Walz came across as the liar he is in his address to delegates, it’s no surprise that an obscene amount of “oohs” and “ahs” were heard from the Twitter/X page of Chris Cillizza, a former CNN editor-in-chief who started his own newsletter after his firing – in which he sounds exactly the same as he did when he “reported” for CNN.

Unbelievable, that was his scorching attitude on Walz’s speech:

1/ I didn’t really *get* the Tim Walz thing before last night. I knew him when he was a congressman. And when he was elected governor. But the political world never touted him as a rising star. Not as “someone to watch.” So I underestimated him…

2/ When Kamala Harris chose Walz, I thought it was a mistake. Josh Shapiro made much more sense from a purely political perspective.

3/ But what Walz has – and this is infrequent in politics these days – is that he is completely comfortable in his own skin. He knows who he is. He is true. And he doesn’t try to be anyone else. And authenticity is the currency of the empire. He radiates it.

4/ Do I think Walz will support Harris get elected? No. She will. Or she won’t. People vote for the top candidates. But I totally SEE why Walz made sense as a choice now. I guess Kamala Harris knew what she was doing better than I did 😂😂😂

He “exudes authenticity”? “Doesn’t try to be anyone else”? What planet does Cillizza live on? As my colleague Brad Slager explained, there isn’t much, if anything, true about Walz:

Looking at all the controversies surrounding the Minnesota governor since his announcement, you can see the signs. All of them have their roots in reality, but Tim had to take things to a higher level. His war record is the obvious example: He served two dozen years but had to embellish his time in service and claim a rank one rank higher than he deserved. He’s being touted as the coach who took his team to state, even though he was an assistant D-line coach. Even the birth of his children by medical insemination had to be hyped up to artificial insemination for political reasons.

Not to mention his “mind your own business” hypocrisy, saying Republicans shouldn’t try to come between a woman and her doctor, but had no problem imposing draconian lockdowns during the Covid pandemic:

So why do the “popular” and “authentic” myths about Tim Walz persist, even as conservative/independent writers do their best to expose who really lies behind the carefully constructed facade?

Unbelievable, yet nauseatingly predictable, because gaslighting is one of the things the mainstream media does best—especially in presidential election years when they pull out all the stops. Remember, this is the same media that, up until Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance in delayed June, told us he was fine and that his critics were spreading “cheap fakes” (altered/out-of-context video clips) that supposedly didn’t show the whole picture.

These people have lost the trust of most Americans for a reason, and I dare say there is nothing they can do now to win it back because their fate has simply progressed too far.
