Does Kamala Harris have concerns about choosing Tim Walz as her running mate? If not, she probably should.

A modern poll out of Pennsylvania sheds some featherlight on how much of an own goal that was. But before that happens, there’s some really good news for Donald Trump: He’s tied in the head-to-head and leading in the five-way race (which is more relevant). It seems as though Harris’s momentum has completely stalled, with no noticeable rebound from the DNC.

Bob Casey, the Democratic Senator running for re-election in Pennsylvania, is also only two points ahead, which is a huge result for the Republicans. Dave McCormick has always had a much tougher fight for a seat there than Mehmet Oz will in 2022, because it is extremely tough historically. That Jon Tester and Joe Manchin have made it this far is a testament to that. McCormick is still a huge underdog, but if he wins this race, it could give what is already being projected as GOP control of the Senate a much-needed edge.

However, the most invigorating part of this poll is actually a hypothetical matchup. When Harris teams up with Josh Shapiro, the popular Democratic governor of Pennsylvania, she expects lose to Trump to Blow him out. If she had chosen Shapiro, she would have had a whopping six-point lead, 51 to 45.

Given the importance of winning Pennsylvania to the overall electoral victory, this decision could cost her the White House. So why did she choose a Betamax, volunteer-acting idiot from Minnesota rather than Shapiro? We all know why. There was no logical reason for Harris to choose Walz, a radical with a lot of baggage from a non-swing state. It’s clear she did it just to appease the Hamas simps in her party. Shapiro is Jewish, and no matter how much he would have benefited a campaign, she simply couldn’t put a Jewish man on the ballot for fear the lunatics in Dearborn would revolt.

Republicans couldn’t be happier with that decision. Although Harris enjoyed a resurgence afterward (which has now stalled and is beginning to reverse), the moment she chose Walz was the moment she ensured this race would remain a gamble for her. at best. Does America really want someone with such decision-making authority as President of the United States?
