Hypocrites Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Obama – one a multi-billionaire, the other a multi-millionaire – made hypocritical comments about luxurious (and money-hungry) Republicans at the largest gaslighting event in U.S. political history, also known as the 2024 Democratic National Convention (DNC).
Mrs Obama continued to roar that her parents “did not aspire to be rich,” and incredulously (given her own wealth), she added, “In fact, they were suspicious of people who took more than they needed.”
Likewise, Oprah sharply criticized former President Trump, saying the work of maintaining a democracy requires “standing up to the bullies of life” and lamenting that she was sometimes the victim of “racism and sexism and income inequality and division.” Did I mention that her net worth is estimated at $3 billion?
Team Trump immediately released a Thank you letter that Winfrey wrote to “Donald” in 2000 and not only said that he would be a good president, but also added: “It’s a shame we’re not running for office. What a team!”
My goodness, what a difference a week makes
As most of the known universe now knows, Kamala Harris continues to refuse to reveal details about her various policies and proposals – most of them almost seem to change daily. Behind her opposition is a frightened Democratic Party; terrified that any detail she reveals (assuming she isn’t lying) would drive away moderate and independent voters in droves.
As I wrote on August 23 in an article titled “Here are 5 trillion reasons why Harris and the Democrats don’t want you to know the details of their policies,” Americans for Tax Reform detailed a “$5 trillion list of tax increases that Kamala Harris just supported,” as confirmed by the Harris campaign.
Harris wants to impose a five trillion dollar tax boost on American households and businesses, her campaign team confirmed on Monday.
The Harris campaign team has officially endorsed the long list of modern and higher taxes included in the Biden-Harris administration’s plan. Budget for the 2025 financial yeara plan that would raise taxes by $5 trillion over ten years.
The burden of Harris’ tax hikes will hit households in the form of reduced wage growth and higher costs for goods and services. These Harris’ tax hikes will make the United States less competitive with our adversaries.
Harris also advocated further increasing and expanding the power of the already oversized IRS and eroding taxpayers’ rights by watering down procedures designed to protect taxpayers from violent and dishonest IRS agents.
Of course, ill-informed ordinary Democratic voters undoubtedly enjoyed every minute of it, as well as the hypocritical blather of Winfrey, the Obamas, and various other super-rich leftists who spoke at the Democratic Convention.
Just one problem.
Wealthy Harris donors are not happy with her plan to “tax the rich to death” and are quietly urging her to drop the plan, proving once again: The hypocrisy of the luxurious knows no bounds.

Perfect, right? Perfect hypocrisy, I mean. When Democrats’ policies – designed primarily to persuade (exploit) ill-informed voters – displease super-rich Democrats, that’s when the “fun” begins. Kamala Harris is already up to her ears in this “fun.”
