Trump speaks to National FOP in Charlotte, NC, discusses Biden’s crime crisis and accepts support for POTUS

As we wrote on Thursday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump spoke to the media at Trump Tower in New York following oral arguments in the E. Jean Carroll case. His remarks included the legal battle being waged against him by the current administration, which includes his Democratic opponent in the 2024 election, Vice President Kamala Harris.

He also spoke about the upcoming presidential debate on ABC News:

Trump then returned to the podium and shared his thoughts on the upcoming presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, calling the September 10 event “entering very hostile territory.”

He then traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina, to address members of the National Fraternal Order of Police. The former president accepted the police group’s official endorsement for the office of President of the United States:

He returned to the debate against Kamala, which was originally scheduled to take place on September 10th, now that Harris has finally agreed to the terms. Trump joked that she had “locked herself in a room” and that her team could not concentrate because his supporters were shouting their support for him outside the building.

Trump continued to talk (the next two clips) about the chaos that reigns in America under the leadership of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, promising that things would be put right once voters sent him back to the White House along with his running mate, Senator JD Vance (R-OH):

The first post ends with:

“…and when I am President of the United States, we will not tolerate this anymore.”

He then recited a litany of statistics about a “crime wave in our country” during Harris’ time in the White House, including attacks and shootings against police officers:

He promised to sign a fresh law to toughen penalties for those who commit crimes against law enforcement and to “crack down” on Soros’ district attorneys, naming the Philadelphia district attorney by name:

Returning to Vice President Harris, Trump laid out her abominable record in California:

As California’s Attorney General, Kamala redefined “child sex trafficking,” “assault with a deadly weapon,” and “rape of an unconscious person” as “nonviolent” crimes.

Kamala called herself the “leader” of the no-cash-bail movement, calling for the abolition of ICE and the elimination of all prison sentences for parole violations.

Trump pointed out that one of the reasons for the apparent decline in crime rates in Harris is that three out of ten metropolitan areas have stopped reporting much of the crime that occurs there:

Towards the end of his speech, former President Trump spoke about the disaster of the Biden-Harris border crisis, saying her failed tenure as border czar was probably the “worst crime Kamala has committed against the law”:
