There’s an elderly Twitter expression: “There’s always a tweet.”
Well, one of those just came for Joe Biden, another example of what an absolute hypocrite he is.
Here’s what Joe Biden tweeted on February 2, 2019, after Gov. Ralph Northam’s scandal broke over whether Northam was the guy in “blackface or the KKK costume.”
There is no place for racism in America. Governor Northam has lost all moral authority and should resign immediately. Justin Fairfax is the leader Virginia needs right now.

But guess who will be the headliner at the Biden/Harris campaign office opening Sunday in Virginia Beach?

I guess if five years pass, that means Northam has moral authority for Joe again, as he could now assist Biden and Harris in their campaign efforts. Just forget the blackface/KKK thing. But maybe Joe should make sure Northam doesn’t wear anything racist to the event.
Even in 2021, Biden seemed nippy with his “buddy” Northam.

Of course, given Biden’s history of racist comments, this may be entirely consistent.
This may not assist him win back black voters who fled him, some of whom are switching to former President Donald Trump.
This also raises further questions about whether Virginia is in the game, as some have speculated about whether they need to make any effort to defend it in this manner. A new poll appears to show Virginia is very much in play, with Biden ahead by just one point:

This is a petite survey of 500 registered voters. But it’s within the margin of error and is D+4, so the Biden team has something to worry about as Biden’s official numbers in Virginia in 2020 had him up 10. That’s probably why we’re seeing new office openings; They look at those numbers and know they need to invest time there.
Add that to the fact that Biden now has to think about Minnesota, and you have to assume his campaign is in trouble. No Republican has won in Minnesota since 1972, but now it’s a question. Trump now seems to be bringing states that were not considered “battleground states” back into play.
It looks like the Biden ship is leaking in all directions, and he’s not sure which way to turn at this point.
