I don’t know what viewership was for the vice presidential debate between Senator JD Vance (R-OH) and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, but if it wasn’t high, it should have been because that was one of the best Debates I have ever seen in my time as a political junkie (which was a long time ago).
Vance, as RedState previously reported, not only trashed Walz, but also the CBS News debate moderators, who did what they weren’t supposed to do at least twice during Vance’s “fact check” just to get him to back down refused to be silenced by checking them right back.

There’s no question who won the debate, as pollsters and even some media outlets said Vance was the winner in so many words:
CNN: “JD Vance came to throw a lot of punches, and he did!”

ABC’s Jonathan Karl: “I have to say…Walz seemed unsure, and honestly I saw in Walz someone who had never asked himself questions…He was just out of practice…JD Vance was it.” He took the arguments to Kamala Harris was very cordial. pic.twitter.com/hxxUUtMWFO

The Democrats are lucky. Presidential debates tend to be much more significant than vice presidential debates.

Meanwhile, on the conservative side:
JD Vance just gave a debate masterclass. It’s not effortless to do this at the national level for the first time. It is more than complex to have a thorough command of the facts, to effectively attack your opponent’s record, and still remain personable and personable. He crushed it.

In my opinion it was a large win for JD regardless of the election response
On every bad issue for Republicans, he showed compassion and advocated for swing voters. On grave issues, he bashed Kamala and tied her to the status quo
Most importantly, he resisted the media portrait

After what happened in July, I wouldn’t put it past them.
On the other hand, the struggle is real in this complex time for Democrats:
Here’s the thing:
Vice presidents don’t do politics. Presidents do it.

I actually think most Americans fundamentally understand that the vice president is not the president.

But as we’ve seen over the last three and a half years, sometimes the POTUS isn’t really the POTUS, and that’s exactly why this debate was so significant.
As I said before, if there is one thing that Joe Biden’s presidency has shown us without a doubt, it is the choice of vice president very significant and can be very There are consequences – and sometimes much sooner than expected, as was the case with Harris.
In any case, hats off to JD Vance, who made the vice presidential debates great again, not least with his outstanding performance on the debate stage.
