In an application on Monday, the five voters said that the general prosecutor’s lawsuit would harm them by taking away the representation of the congress and the election college from their states.

The lawsuit submitted more than a week ago by the GOP General Prosecutor from GOP of Kansas, Louisiana, Ohio and West Virginia to illegally or temporarily excluded people in the country from the figures, with which congress seats were divided after every unique ten-people.

In the 14th change it says that “the entire number of people in every state” should be counted for the figures for the division, the process of assigning the sitting of the congress and the votes of the election college among the states, based on the population.

In their application, the voters from California and Texas said that the 14th change was “as clear as possible” that the division should be based on the number of all residents.

During his first term, President Donald Trump signed a command that would have illegally excluded the people in the United States from the 2020 census counting, with which congress seats were assigned. In a second order, the recording of citizenship data was prescribed by administrative documents. A Republican redistribution expert had written that the employ of population at the age of voting could be advantageous instead of the total population for the purpose of redirecting congress and legislative districts for republicans and non-Hispanic white.

Trump issued the order after the US Supreme Court had blocked its previous attempt to add a question of citizenship to the census questionnaire in 2020

Both Trump commands were canceled when President Joe Biden arrived in the White House in January 2021 before the figures were released by the US Volks counting office in 2020. Trump raised Biden’s command last week at the beginning of his second term and signaled the possibility of a push of his up-to-date administration to change the census of 2030.
