Adam Schiff broke the irony on Tuesday when he wagged a finger at President-elect Donald Trump for targeting political opponents. According to the up-to-date California senator, this is deeply inappropriate for Trump even mention the possibility that crimes were committed during the Biden administration.

SCHIFF: I don’t think the up-to-date president should threaten his opponents with prison sentences. This is not the kind of talk we should hear from the president in a democracy, nor do I believe a pardon of the members of the January 6 committee is necessary.
Has Adam Schiff always Criticize Joe Biden for directly calling for Trump to be thrown in prison? Maybe I missed it, but I have a sneaking suspicion I didn’t. Not to mention, such a call is not necessary to hold the Biden administration accountable for weaponizing the Justice Department to lock up its main political opponent during an election. In such a situation, actions speak much louder than words.
The hypocrisy here is just unimaginable, so much so that it would be comical if it weren’t so sedate. We just experienced eight solid years of Democrats, from congressman to president, calling Trump a criminal and actively calling for his impeachment. Yet these same people want to wag their fingers at any Republican who suggests conducting legitimate investigations into possible abuses of power.
How do I know this? Because Schiff has “threatened his opponents with prison sentences” in the past.

SCHIFF in 2018: The day Donald Trump leaves office, the Justice Department could indict him.
SCHIFF in 2019: I am very much in favor of impeaching the president when he is out of office.
SCHIFF in 2024: I don’t think the up-to-date president should threaten his opponents with prison sentences. That’s not the kind of talk we should hear from the president in a democracy…
That’s what the Democrats are doing. While in power, they go crazy, using various departments as weapons against their political opponents, possibly breaking laws in the process, only to demand a return to “norms” at the moment of their defeat. It’s very practical. It won’t happen either.
Trump was not elected to restore “norms” or whitewash the abuses of the Biden administration. He was elected to change the status quo, from the economy to the way government works. Those who actually done Anyone who tries to throw their opponents into prison, as Schiff describes it, will learn the principle of sowing and reaping. Regardless of whether criminal charges are ultimately filed or not, investigations will be carried out. That will be ensured by Pam Bondi and Kash Patel, both of whom are apparently awaiting confirmation as heads of the DOJ and FBI.
Finally, note that Schiff says he does not believe the January 6 committee members need a pardon. That’s great because accepting a pardon is a choice. If it’s offered, Schiff will surely turn it down, right? Right?
