Artist Scott LoBaido thrilled the crowd of around 18,000 at Donald Trump’s campaign rally on Long Island on Wednesday evening by creating a captivating portrait of the former president in just over three minutes to thunderous music.
Wait until the end:

To me, it looked like the black and white part depicting Trump himself had been painted beforehand and LoBaido had revealed it by peeling back some sort of plastic sheet. I didn’t mind though, because it took planning and execution and was a stunning reveal, almost like a magic show. The end result was a hell of a lot better than I could have achieved in three hours – let alone 180 seconds.
The 59-year-old self-proclaimed “Patriot Artist” hails from Staten Island and is a staunch Trump supporter who wants to try teach the other side some sense:
LoBaido, who is best known for his paintings of American flags in addition to his political activism, told Fox News Digital that while he feels alienated from the mainstream art scene, he hopes to win over Trump critics with his work.
“I especially want to reach out to the people on the other side who hate Donald TrumpPeople who hate him for the dumbest reasons,” LoBaido said.
We have already reported about him at RedState:

Here is another angle showing the reveal:

Beautiful painting, @ScottLoBaido!
More than 60,000 people have requested tickets to Trump’s rally, twice the population of Uniondale at 30,000.

As nippy as it is to watch him produce his pieces, he also has a lot to say. In an interview after the rally, he said compared Trump to a firefighter:
“Your house is burning down, your kids are on the second floor, flames are blazing out the back and screaming out the window. The guy across the street is a firefighter, but you don’t like his haircut. You don’t like his tan. You don’t like what he tweets. This guy is going to come in and save your house from burning down and your kids. Do you give a shit about his haircut, his mean tweets, or his tan?”
“I don’t think so. People have to think about that,” he added.
Regard:
That’s a great accent, by the way. LoBaido reminds me of another conservative talent, Sabo, who creates hysterical memes and artwork mocking Democrats and progressives and hangs them in public places.

As artists, both face a lot of backlash from left-leaning forces, but that doesn’t stop them from doing what they do. Keep up the good work, guys.
