Despite repeated court denials, Joe Biden continues to try to buy votes by unilaterally forgiving student loans, thereby de facto shifting the burden from borrowers to the American taxpayer.

On Thursday, however, another court shouted foul:

A federal appeals court blocked President Biden’s Student loan repayment plan that would have reduced payments for millions of people who borrowed money for their education.

The 8th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursdayby granting a request for an administrative stay filed by Republican-led states. The order will prohibit the Biden administration from implementing any part of its Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) program that has not already been blocked by lower courts, The Associated Press reported.

The court’s decision comes on the same day that Biden asked for forgiveness even more student loans.

The Biden administration announced Thursday that it would forgive an additional $1.2 billion in student loans through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program to cover the debts of 35,000 people.

President Biden According to the commission, those who received debt relief through this measure include teachers, nurses, police officers and emergency medical technicians with an average debt burden of $35,000.

Today’s actions bring the total number of people who have received assistance from the Biden administration to 4.76 million.

Biden quietly forgives student loans for thousands of government employees while millions of others continue to suffer from debt

Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin welcomed the decision:

The president disregards the separation of powers enshrined in the Constitution and the principles so clearly articulated in “Schoolhouse Rock.”

Ward Clark of RedState wrote about Biden’s quixotic efforts to simply cancel the debt of people who voluntarily took it on:

The fact is that the Biden administration has been favoring different classes of student loan borrowers for some time. Last year, it quietly forgave student loans for federal employees (and no one else) and extended the suspension of student loan repayments well beyond the original reason for it, which was the COVID “crisis.”

Biden has consistently flouted the courts – and the Constitution – as he blatantly attempts to buy the votes of teenage people across our country. But the question he never answers is: Why should the plumber in Ohio pay back the debt the social justice warrior took on at Columbia University?

The courts have sent Joe Biden a message, and as his campaign continues to implode, so does his radical agenda. And that’s a good thing.
