Bill Maher is still a Democrat and, because of his Trump Derangement Syndrome, will likely vote for Joe Biden if he votes at all.
But the entertaining thing is, he keeps giving everyone else good reasons why they shouldn’t. And he believes Biden will lose, as he explained last week.

On Friday, when our sister site Townhall designedMaher outlined the two main issues that he believes would bring down Biden if he were to actually lose.
First, “He’s old,” and people just can’t get over it.
Um, yeah, and the incoherence doesn’t support either.
But then Maher lays out all the problems Joe has gotten himself into with the border and illegal immigration. “On a purely political level, I don’t think they could have handled it any worse,” he says.

Maher pointed out that Biden is finally issuing an executive order regarding the border “after saying he couldn’t do anything.”
He then mocked the 2,500 limit in the EO that would trigger action. “Fire Marshall says, ‘Stop it!’ He’s going to come and shut the club down! If you don’t have a stamp on your hand, you’re not coming back in!” He said it was like “the Uber price hike. It’s a bizarre scheme.” He said it looks like he’s done “nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing” and this is his very last attempt, even as he falsely tries to blame Republicans for killing the terrible law that solved nothing. “This is his last minute before the election, Hail Mary pass,” he said. Exactly, you know voters will understand that Biden has done nothing and he’s only concerned with saving himself in the election.
Podcaster Matt Welch noted that Biden did it despite knowing it probably wouldn’t hold up in court. “And it’s an admission that he could have done it all along, but he didn’t. You broke it, you bought it, it’s on him,” said journalist Abigail Shrier. When she said that, the audience clapped loudly in agreement.
Maher explained that since Biden took office, more than 9 million people have entered illegally, which he said is more than the entire population of Nicaragua. “He let all of Nicaragua in, which is the entire population,” Maher snapped. He said the problem with Democrats is that they refuse to say how many is too many and that their answer is “infinite or you’re a racist.” Boy, that really captures the Democrats’ attitude.
Shrier then sharply attacked Biden, pointing out that during the election campaign he had called for a reversal of former President Donald Trump’s policies. He had done so, but “now he must face the consequences.”
This is a great description of why not to vote for Biden, although of course there are many other reasons. It perfectly highlights his failure and cowardly actions, only now as the election draws closer. Americans understand it and are therefore not ecstatic with Biden, and many will go to Trump.

“Listen to these staggering numbers: On the question, ‘Which candidate would handle immigration and border security better?’ Trump has a 30-point lead among registered voters … and among Latino voters, Trump has a 23-point lead,” Maher said.
“Look at the overall results in South Texas. It’s crazy. In 90% or more Hispanic areas, the demographic has changed. It’s 50 percentage points in favor of Republicans and 50 percentage points in favor of Trump. That’s huge,” added Welch, who noted that Democrats don’t have a story to reverse that trend. The left’s story on immigration is too messy to sell to voters.
These numbers are simply staggering and if they hold up, they will give Trump the election victory.
