The left has truly found its match in JD Vance. The vice presidential nominee is extremely adept at turning the tables on Democrats, exposing them for the ruthless purveyors of misinformation that they clearly are.
There hasn’t been a line of attack that Vance hasn’t been able to fend off, with Kamala Harris’ nonsensical campaign rallying cry “Trump is a Nazi” being the latest JD Vance.
It all started with one tweet by the repulsive Megan Hunt, a senator from Nebraska. Hunt went to bed over Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Gardens (MSG), tweeting it in response to a photo posted by Trump’s prosecutor that was equally disgusting Tristan Snell shows a 1939 Nazi rally at MSG:
You know it! They love it!! It’s 100% intentional and they think it’s comical and cooked for you if you don’t like it
It takes a ill person to post something like that, let alone attribute it to the presidential candidate of one of the country’s two major political parties. On the other hand, Hunt has one trans child and supposedly thrown off the Democratic Party because it’s not progressive enough, so that’s the mentality we’re dealing with here.
An X/Twitter user didn’t want to let Hunt’s inflammatory tweet stand unchallenged and posted back to her: “My father fought against the Nazis in World War II and was wounded. This comparison of Republicans and Nazis is cruel. You should be ashamed.” To what hunt replied“Yeah, that’s a good point. We used to fight Nazis and not vote for them.”
This caught the attention of JD Vance and he immediately jumped in to set the record straight for Megan Hunt.

Many (although their numbers are decreasing) are still with us. I would like to see a real survey of the people who actually fought the Nazis. I bet 75 percent of them vote to “Make America Great Again.”

Vance makes a very good point here that people like Megan Hunt, Tristan Snell and Kamala Harris won’t like. While we don’t know exactly how America’s World War II heroes would vote in 2024, we have a pretty good idea.
A current one Opinion poll from Pew Research Center shows Donald Trump winning the military veteran vote by a wide margin, with Trump at 61 percent and Harris at 37 percent. Pew concluded: “Military veterans have long had a tendency to join the Republican Party and support Republican candidates, and that remains the case today.”
To make matters worse for Harris, she chose Tim Walz as her running mate – the man whose lies are the epitome of “stolen valor.” That kind of thing doesn’t go over well with his fellow veterans, including JD Vance.
The Pew Research numbers are a direct refutation of the Democrats’ baseless attack line that Donald Trump despises the military, as his now-discredited former chief of staff John Kelly claims. Kelly also said Trump lavished praise on Adolf Hitler’s generals, marking the beginning of this fresh round of “Trump is a Nazi” nonsense.
Here’s a fun fact for Democrats: JD Vance just recently turned forty, which means they still have years ahead of him putting them in their place. It will be fun to watch.
