Following a roll call vote during the opening session of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Donald Trump is now officially the Republican nominee for President of the United States in 2024.
Trump’s son Eric announced on Monday that he would be the one to pledge the delegate votes that would support his father surpass the 1,215 delegate mark.
I am honored to announce that at 3:30 p.m. ET, I will join my family in casting my vote to declare Donald J. Trump the Republican nominee for President of the United States in 2024.

And that’s exactly what he did. At his side were his sister Tiffany and brother Don Jr. – and his wife, RNC co-chair Lara Trump, rushed to stand by his side.
