So this is what it has come to. To push through divisive legislation, California’s Democratic supermajority has resorted to fisticuffs when opposed. According to Capitol correspondent Ashley Zavala, Rep. Bill Essayli (R-Riverside) debated AB 1955, which makes it a crime for school boards to agree to notify parents that their child is transitioning from one gender to another. The Chino Hills Unified School District is in Essayli’s district and is being sued by the state of California for implementing a parental notification policy.

I honestly can’t believe what I’m seeing. Please watch the entire video. The Democrat supermajority won’t let the opposition speak, and when they do, they label any criticism of Democrats’ actions or policies as “derogatory” and shut off the microphones. This is NOT democracy. This is psychotic, childish authoritarianism. And worst of all, they’re shutting down Essayli to cover up their vile lies.

In May, Essayli pushed for passage of AB 2641, a bill to repeal California’s sanctuary city laws to prevent illegal pedophile criminals from entering the state, and was attacked just as harshly by his Democratic colleagues. Essayli and Rep. Pilar Schiavo (D-North LA) regularly traded barbs on the floor and on X about this and other bills. But during Essayli’s efforts to debate AB 1955, Rep. Corey Jackson (D-Moreno Valley) decided it was time to get physical.

According to Capitol correspondent Ashley Zavala, Essayli compared the Democratic leadership to the “Communist Party” of California in his speech, comparing it to an oligarchy. Things unfolded from there. After a failed vote that would have allowed Essayli to continue debate on the bill, Essayli then challenged Rep. Rick Chavez Zbur (D-LA) on a point of order, stating that he had received a secondment to his motion from Rep. Kate Sanchez (R-Murietta). Jackson decided to challenge him on the matter. Essayli then said, “What are you going to do about it?” At that moment, Jackson quickly left his seat and tried to approach Essayli directly, but was held back by his colleagues.

REGARD:

The debate over AB 1955 in the California Assembly just got out of hand. The bill would prohibit California schools from informing parents about transgender students. @billessayli His microphone was turned off while he was discussing a bill from last year, MPs raised numerous points of order. Then Essayli said something we could not hear, and that triggered @AsmCoreyJackson

As the debate continued, tensions continued to build. The Democrats even erected a human wall between Jackson and Essayli. So mature.

Then, like the drama kings and queens that they are, the Democrats literally formed a circle of wagons around the author of AB1955, Rep. Chris Ward (D-San Diego), who had an emotional breakdown. Again, very mature.

After all this kabuki theater, the 1955 bill passed on a party-line vote and will now be sent to Governor Gavin Newsom for his signature.

That’s not a lie, and many of us have been warning America about exactly that. This move by CaLeg was made to empower Newsom and his transgender agenda – which President Joe Biden has implemented to the letter. But it should also encourage other Democratic legislatures to utilize the same maneuvers to undermine and curtail parental rights. Denise Aguilar, candidate for the 13th District, said it’s time to put the lawsuits on hold.

Tara and I would like to send a substantial thank you to everyone who showed up, called, and allowed us to represent you at the hearing on . #AB1955The bill may have passed committee, but the energy of our community was impeccable It’s clear that we’re all fed up with these crazy bills and policies pushing for family separation. Should this pass, there are lawsuits waiting to be filed. In the meantime, if you’re interested in homeschooling, I’ll be hosting a meeting for my run for the Assembly where there will also be resources on homeschooling. July 13, Louis Park, 11-3. We’re so proud of how the day went today.

Essayli did what he does well – he talked to the people and the media. Democrats may think they have silenced every debate and had a chilling effect on any school district that opposes them, but instead they have lit a fire that will burn until November. California parents have taken note of which Democrats voted YES on this madness. With the revised version of Prop 47 up for vote, expect those parents and their coalitions to flood the mail-in ballot and polling places. Parents’ rights are also now up for vote.
