Colorado Democrats are celebrating a law that will take effect Jan. 1 that will expand free Medicaid coverage to pregnant illegal immigrants and migrant children. The taxpayer-funded program (aren’t they all?) opens up state Medicaid funding for maternity and postpartum care, physical, dental, vision and mental health care with one initially Price tag Costing Colorado taxpayers up to $51 million.
So I have somewhat mixed feelings about this.

Colorado taxpayers will be forced to pay for comprehensive health care for aliens who intentionally entered the U.S. illegally. Additionally, Colorado Democratic officials will refuse to provide federal immigration officials with information about their illegal immigration status. Yes, everything is fine there. But hey: Play stupid games by voting for Democrats and win stupid prizes.
