Cryin’ Adam Kinzinger is at it again. Following the conviction of former President Donald Trump, Democrats and their anti-Trump Republican comrades are all over the world, desperately trying to convince the nation that the politically motivated law enforcement efforts have nothing to do with politics. Essentially, they are begging the public to ignore what their eyes and ears are telling them.

At a recent appearance on CNNThe former Illinois state representative said he was “very disappointed” in House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) for opposing the verdict in the Manhattan trial.

After the verdict was announced, Johnson and other Republicans sharply criticized the decision.

Today is a shameful day in American history. Democrats cheered as they convicted the leader of the opposing party on ridiculous charges based on the testimony of a convicted felon who had been disbarred. This was a purely political maneuver, not a legal one.

Weaponizing our justice system is a hallmark of the Biden administration, and today’s decision is further proof that Democrats will stop at nothing to silence dissidents and destroy their political opponents.

The American people view this as a legal dispute and know it is wrong – and threatening. President Trump will rightly appeal this absurd ruling – and he WILL WIN!

Johnson also said The ruling will “probably guarantee” that Trump will be re-elected in November, which apparently infuriated Kinzinger.

The former congressman said: “As a person of faith myself, I am very disappointed that a person of faith … especially in such a powerful position, would lie on this issue.” He does not believe that “there is a single person who campaigned for Joe Biden and because of these crimes has now said, ‘I will vote for Donald Trump.'”

Kinzinger added: “That may please 30 percent of the most die-hard Trump supporters, but the rest of America says, ‘Wow, that’s weird.'”

Kinzinger attributed this development to social media, coupled with what he called a “mass psychosis,” arguing that many people, including Republicans, “feel uncomfortable voting for a convicted felon.”

Of course, Kinzinger is right that Biden’s supporters won’t change their minds because of the Manhattan ruling. However, no one is making that argument up front. What people who aren’t Cryin’ Adam Kinzinger can see is that those who were undecided — or perhaps leaning toward Trump — may just take the plunge and vote for him because they see how devious the Democrats have become in using the government to target a political opponent.

What Kinzinger and his ilk refuse to acknowledge is that, despite their criticism of the former president, Democrats are clearly trying to utilize the state to influence the outcome of the presidential election. Regardless of what Kinzinger hopes, this will likely turn off a significant number of voters.
