For conservatives, it’s like Christmas every day since Donald Trump won a second trip to the White House just over two weeks ago. Unless it’s the Democrats who form one circular firing squad about what went wrong on November 5th, it is the corporate media in complete free fall over American voters’ complete rejection of the false narratives that have been spread by left-wing “reporters” and “journalists” for years.
Honestly, it was delicious to watch.
As always, the madness was particularly focused on the girls of “The View.” They are furious that their girl Kamala lost to Trump, and they have not even the slightest hint that she and her partisan squabbles played a role in their defeat.
Not prone to moments of self-reflection, “The View” activists have taken Trump’s victory as a mandate to keep talking about those mean ancient Republicans. Except things have changed. Republicans, conservatives and just plain ancient Americans have had enough and are fighting back in a way that will turn Joy Behar’s head so swift her wig will fly off.
RedState’s Bonchie reported Wednesday that “The View” was slammed for comments about then-Attorney General candidate Matt Gaetz, with (not so) Sunny Hostin having to read a “legal notice” correcting her comments. Essentially, the ladies seemed to view rumors as fact, and ABC’s legal team could have foreseen that trouble would come their way. If you want to see the sourest look in the history of the sour look, click through Bonchie’s story and look at Sunny Hostin’s face.
Or you could stay here and watch as she has to do it all over again, this time because she disparages both Matt Gaetz and Pete Hegseth:
JUST IN: The View’s Sunny Hostin had to read another legal notice that Matt Gaetz and Pete Hegseth have not been charged with a crime.
Joy Behar is getting tired of it.
“Matt Gaetz has long denied all allegations and has not been charged with any crime.”
“Pete Hegseth [has]… pic.twitter.com/o36lylsRPB

Here is every glorious word:
Matt Gaetz has long denied all allegations and has not been charged with any crime. Gaetz previously denied allegations that he paid for sex, saying, “Someone is trying to classify my generosity to ex-girlfriends as something unpleasant.”
Another legal note: Pete Hegseth’s lawyers said he paid the woman in 2023 to avoid a baseless lawsuit. He has denied any wrongdoing
The producers played music over the statement, and the sheep in the studio audience laughed on cue, but that didn’t take away from the glory of watching these broads eat crow. You never learn, do you? Plus, the massive, unanswered question has always been who actually listens to this crap.
You might get tired of us saying it here at RedState, but that’s how it is. Republicans must (figuratively) put their boots on the necks of these spooks of hate and lies…repeatedly and often. Make them choke on their own words, make them read legal statements, make them repeat their inane stories over and over again.
It’s not clear whether Matt Gaetz and Pete Hegseth’s lawyers threatened legal action or whether ABC News executives are just trying to head off legal trouble, but that doesn’t matter. Play the game, join the fight and keep winning.
