There is a saying among the right that one can never despise the liberal media enough.
They prove it time and time again, even after the assassination of former President Donald Trump. You would think they could put their hostility aside, at least for a few days. But some immediately showed what despicable people they are, even through their coverage of the assassination itself.
Even at the Republican National Convention, where Trump had just nominated his vice president and received his party’s nomination, they couldn’t stop.

Jacob Soboroff, a reporter from MSNBC, had some uncomfortable questions for him that he just couldn’t put aside. He asked DJT Jr. what his father’s second term would look like and said even he would probably admit that “your father was a polarizing figure.”
But Donald Trump Jr. didn’t let it go. He simply destroyed the issue.
“I don’t think he created division at all,” Trump Jr. responded. “I think the media created division around him. They lied about Russia and Russian collusion, they called him a traitor, they persecuted him in every way they could. If the media would actually start being honest brokers and talk about the things he did, the prosperity he brought, the peace agreements he signed around the world, instead of the disaster we’re now witnessing, I think they would be doing everyone in the country a huge favor.”
Well said.
The reporter then tried another attack: “I know he cares about immigration. I have been following the family separation crisis closely. Will we continue to see measures like the deliberate separation of 5,000 children from their parents?”
Trump Jr. replied: “You mean the Obama administration…?”
The reporter then tried to defend Barack Obama: “You know, they didn’t do that, sir. Will there be a second family separation policy?”
Trump Jr. attacked him: “It’s MSDNC. I expect nothing less from you clowns. You couldn’t wait. You couldn’t wait with your lies and your nonsense. So just go away.”
Now that’s quite a verbal rejection.
There it is. Under Obama or Biden, somehow there was no “family separation,” no illegal immigrant deaths, no “children in cages” — even though all of that happened. It just wasn’t worth liberal media coverage when a Democrat was in office.
They never focus on the huge success Trump had at the border, or the terrible things that happened at the border, first under Obama and then under Biden when it got even worse. He created such a massive crisis by destroying everything Trump had accomplished. Where is the question about the thousands of children who disappeared under Biden, or the fact that children were handed over to human traffickers?
It’s disgusting that the reporter was so hostile. But it’s so normal for them that they don’t even know how to be fair or unbiased. It’s good that Don Jr. doesn’t stand for it.
