We should honor the Greatest Generation and the sacrifices they made on D-Day, those who gave their lives, and those who survived that noble fight to defeat the Nazis.
But for the Democrats, it seems to be about themselves and their current political agendas.
My colleague Bonchie wrote earlier about Hillary Clinton’s vile remark in which she claimed that voting against the Republicans would save “democracy,” just as the brave Americans did who fought on D-Day.
Eighty years ago today, thousands of brave Americans fought on the coast of Normandy to protect democracy.
This November we just have to vote.

No, first of all, they are not saving “democracy” by voting like that, and it is insulting to compare a vote to landing in Normandy and helping to defeat the Nazis. Is it any wonder she lost when she doesn’t seem to understand how abhorrent what she said is?
But she was not the only one. Joe Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken decided to get involved in the drama surrounding the “bad comments on D-Day.” Blinken was asked what our allies and enemies should take away from Biden’s D-Day speech?
Blinken replied: “The same determination that the extraordinary men and women we celebrate today showed then, he [Biden] is now displayed.”

He then said that we “honor” their achievement by opposing Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
But enough is enough now. Showing up at a ceremony and not falling flat on your face is not the same as admitting. When he said Biden supports Ukraine, that is not the same as landing on a beach under fire. It is not about Biden; it is about the veterans and the dead, their courage and how that led to victory over the enemy. It is not an excuse to pump up Biden or to get support for Ukraine.
Why do they think they sound good when they say things like that? They just sound offensive. You can’t compare the sleepy, incoherent Biden to brave war heroes.
Biden has even seemed confused in the past about when D-Day was, including during his ridiculous lie about his uncle possibly being eaten by cannibals. It’s really not the same thing.

Here’s another moment where he doesn’t even seem to know the date of D-Day.
Joe Biden’s advisers flew him to France to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy on D-Day.
But does Joe Biden actually know why he is there?

How far behind have we fallen in terms of leadership.
