While the Kamala Harris campaign team continues to tout “joy” but offers few concrete policy proposals, we don’t have to look far to find out what she would be like as president—we only need to examine her record.
And boy oh boy, is it bad. She was the “the last one in the room“When Joe Biden made his final decision on the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, she was (despite her claims to the contrary) the ‘border czar’, even as millions upon millions of illegal immigrants poured into the country, and she was the deciding vote the “Inflation Reduction Act,” which was in reality just a thinly disguised Green New Deal that drove up inflation.
And lo and behold, she has another disastrous performance under her belt, namely in her role as “Broadband Tsarina”, a role Biden presented her so that it could oversee efforts to provide high-speed internet to rural populations. That didn’t go well.
Commissioner Brendan Carr, the highest-ranking Republican on the Federal Communications Commission, appeared before the House Oversight Committee on Thursday and sharply criticized the plan:

In the tweet above, the Oversight Committee notes that Carr said it had been nearly three years and almost nothing had been done [bolding theirs]:
According to FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr, Kamala Harris has made no progress on her broadband infrastructure initiative despite having three years to work on it.
“In 2021, Vice President Harris agreed to lead the government’s signature 42 billion US dollars Efforts to expand Internet service to millions of Americans.
“It is now 1039 days since this program came into force.
“After all this time not a single person was connected to the Internet.
Does this seem to be a pattern with this government?
Buttigieg does not try to explain why the Biden administration has only built 8 charging stations for electric vehicles
But Carr wasn’t finished: He said Kamala’s performance had led to a historically leisurely rollout of a federal program:
“Not a single house, not a single business, not even a shovel of earth was dug up.
“And it’s getting worse.
“Construction of new infrastructure will not begin until next year at the earliest, and in many cases not until 2026.
“This makes Vice President Harris’ $42 billion initiative the slowest-moving federal broadband expansion program in recent history.”
But why has the plan stalled so much? What could possibly be taking so long? Yes, you guessed it, the government is more focused on social goals and retaliation against Elon Musk for not supporting the government’s arguments.

Carr accuses the administration of focusing on climate change, DEI and other policy goals instead of connecting Americans. He points out that the government has a $1,300 per site contract with after President Biden specifically @elonmuskand the government now spends over $100,000 per site on its own efforts.
“Bottom line: Without major reforms, Vice President Harris’ $42 billion program is doomed to fail. It’s time to correct course. Eliminate all irrelevant policy goals and focus on getting Americans connected, swift.”
That’s the kind of government we’d get from Kamala Harris, folks. Bloated, ineffective, and woke. She proves that day after day; we can only hope enough voters see that for themselves.
