After a strange Ebenezer appearance at the lighting of the National Christmas Tree on Thursday evening, President Joe Biden is having a relatively silent Friday. He receives his Daily Brief in the morning. In the evening, he will attend and speak at an event (in the East Room of the White House) honoring American veterans and their families on the eve of the 83rd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The jury continues to deliberate in the Daniel Penny case. I predict they will wrap things up one way or another by Friday lunchtime/early afternoon. The fact that it has gone on for so long makes me think we may have an unanswered jury.
