The U.S. House of Representatives voted Thursday to “condemn the failure of the Biden administration and its border commissioner, Kamala Harris, to secure the U.S. border.” The resolution passed by a vote of 220 to 196. Six Democrats – Yadira Caraveo (CO), Henry Cuellar (TX), Don Davis (NC), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA), Jared Golden (ME) and Mary Peltola (AK) – voted for the resolution.

The resolution accomplished two vital tasks. First, it underscores Harris’ role in the disgrace that is the security situation at our southern border. Second, it cements the nickname “Border Czar” for Harris, despite the massive efforts of Democrats and their tame, penniless media to convince everyone that Harris is neither responsible for border security nor entrusted with the informal title of “Border Czar.”Border Tsar.“
“This is a non-binding resolution. It will never become law. … The idea that Kamala Harris is the border czar was invented by right-wing media,” said Rep. Jim McGovern (Mass.), the ranking Democrat on the Rules Committee.
While Democrats may not like it and the national media may embarrass itself in its coverage of the issue, two things are beyond question: For the Biden White House, the well-being and physical safety of illegal immigrants – many of whom were known to be violent – was more important than the safety of American citizens and communities.

The second point is that Democrats and the media tirelessly referred to her as Biden’s “border czar” when they thought this might burnish Kamala’s reputation as something other than Willie Brown’s supporting character.
