Washington (AP) – tax reliefs in which more than 5 trillion US dollars are calculated – but also a considerable reduction in medical health care, food brands for older Americans and strategies for green energy to combat climate change – are confronted with acute debates on Tuesday, since the Republicans of the Republicans of the Republicans are confronted by Marathon -Sand hearing about their “big, beautiful bill”.

It is still a long night ahead of us. The Republicans are working on driving President Donald Trump’s signature package for the legislative package through a glove of committees on the increasing opposition of Democrats, Interest representative groups and even some cautious republicans.

From the beginning, a meeting was immediately interrupted by demonstrators, which screamed, which the top democrat of the committee described as “cruel” coil for Medicaid.

“People feel very strong because they know that they lose their health care,” said Rep. Frank Pallone, Dn.J., in Energy & Commerce Committee. He asked for the police not arrest and found that some of the protested people were disabled.

And it went for hours.

It is the greatest political and legislative debate for the Republican who has been leading Congress since Trump’s first term and a career -related collision over the nation’s priorities that come with Trump’s trade war and other uncertainties at a time of economic discomfort.

Trump, who spoke in a forum in the Middle East, met an ambitious chord and said that the congress was “shortly before that to say goodbye to the greatest tax cut and regulation in American history”.

“If we get that, it will be like a rocket ship for our country,” said Trump in Saudi Arabia.

But to be sheltered, there are many more steps before the package becomes the law.

The goal for GOP legislators is to extend and improve the tax cuts approved in 2017 and to promise the president’s campaign not to promise taxes on tips, income for social security and autocreditz interest.

There is also a larger standard deduction, 32,000 US dollars for couples, a thrust for the tax credit for children and a potentially higher upper limit of $ 30,000 for state and local tax deductions, including as a salt.

This is compensated for by 1.9 trillion dollars, mainly from the rollback from Green Energy tax credits for a net payment of 3.7 trillion US

In addition, the Republicans boost expenses for their GOP priorities with 350 billion US dollars for Trump’s mass deportation plans and financing of the Pentagon.

At the same time, the Republicans try to promote the lost tax revenue and to avoid national deficits with another GOP target that trains the federal expenses back.

Over the decade, Republicans propose cuts of almost 800 billion US dollars for the Medicaid Health Care program used by 70 million Americans. 290 billion US dollars for food aid in the supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, known as SNAP; and other.

Intended in the package is part of other provisions that are significant for the White House – including one that would enable the Trump government to raise the tax -free status of groups, send information to support terrorists and shaking frost through civil society organizations that warn it is a way to punish opponents.

The democratic leader of the House, Hakeem Jeffries, accused Republicans, “another GOP tax fraud”, which benefits the luxurious at the expense of programs and services that are used by many Americans.

Spokesman Mike Johnson is determined to push the package through the house to the Memorial Day and send it to the Senate, where the Republicans work on their own version and their approach.

Johnson and his management team constantly connected to Trump every step.

MP Jason Smith, the Republican Chair of Ways & Means Tax Reflect Committee, said he met Trump on Friday and exceeded the tax regulations “Line to Line”.

“He was very satisfied with what we deliver,” said Smith.

On Tuesday, the last three out of 11 house committees working on the package that is reduced to some of the largest components.

The mind flammed in the listening rooms. At one point, Rep. Brett Guthrie, the Republican chairman of the Energy & Commerce Committee, legislature, to accuse colleagues, to be “lied”.

Democrats make posters of components with the words “Medicaid affairs”. One, Rep. Marc Vasey from Texas, put you on the phone to the speaker to share her story – until her certificate outside the order was excluded.

Estimates from the congress in the impartial budget office show that at least 7.6 million people with the Medicaid cuts and possibly more with the changes in the Affordable Care Act could lose through the Medicaida cuts. Most of the time, the changes in the healthcare system include the imposition of modern work requirements for auxiliary recipients.

But the Republican MP Gary Palmer from Alabama said his team tried to make the health program better by spending waste and inefficiencies.

“We try to save medicaid,” he said.

As a minority party in the Congress, Democrats plan not to stop the legislative template in the available procedural instruments in order to ponderous down the process. It is expected that the hearings push into the morning hours.

The Republicans have dissent in their own ranks about health care and green energy cuts, which shows the upcoming pressure points.

Smith suggested that some changes to the legislation could be made in order to gain these legislators of the state of state from New York and California, which believe that the proposed salt cap is inadequate.

“There is a bit of scope there to provide additional priorities,” said Smith.

With the slimest majority in the house, Johnson has only a few votes to save and joins the resistance of his party, including the legislator in the Senate, which also has gaunt GOP margins.

Legislators drive for a period on July 4 to send the entire package to Trump’s desk in good time in order to avoid hazardous debt delay. The finance minister said that the federal tax revenues have to boost the expenditure limit in order to further pay the invoices.

The package contains an boost of 4 trillion US dollars for the now 36 trillion dollar debt -related debt limit in the country in order to finance the operation through the intermediate election in 2026.
