The death of Professional Wrestler Hulk Hogan last week was caused by a heart attack, according to a report of a medical examiner in Florida published on Thursday.
The 71 -year -old Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, previously had leukemia and atrial fibrillation, an irregular heart rhythm, said the report of the District Six Medical Examiner.
To honor the “Hulkster”, Governor Ron Desantis said on Friday with half -relays on all official buildings, which he explained to the “Hulk Hogan Day in Florida”.
“He was through and through a real floridier,” wrote the Republican governor in a memo on Thursday.
Hogan was declared dead less than 90 minutes after the arrival of doctors in Clearwater in a hospital to answer a call for cardiac arrest on the morning of July 24, the police said. In the report, the cause of death was “natural”.
“He had some health problems to do, but I really believed that we would overcome them,” Hogan’s wife Sky Daily posted on Instagram.
“This loss is suddenly and impossible to process,” she added. “He was a legend for the world … but for me he was my Terry.”
Hogan was perhaps the biggest star in WWE’s long history, known for his-sized personality and his in-ring exploits. He was the main release for the first wrestlemania in 1985 and was an integral part of it for years, from Andre, the giant and Randy Savage to rock and even the co-founder of WWE, Vince McMahon.
Hogan’s daughter Brooke Bollea Oleksy, better known as her stage name Brooke Hogan, recently reminded her father in a social media post.
“I am so grateful that I knew the true version of him. Not only those who looked at the world through a carefully curated objective,” she wrote on Instagram.
Funeral plans have not yet been announced publicly.
