Some people are very unhappy with Joe Biden’s decision to pardon his son Hunter for all crimes he committed between January 1, 2014 and December 1, 2024.
They are a group of three former advisers and loyalists to former President Barack Obama – Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett and Tommy Vietor – who were often referred to as the “Obama Brothers” when the trio worked for the White House.
Speaking on the Pod Save America podcast Tuesday, the brothers criticized the lame-duck president for saying for months that he had no intention of pardoning his son. But forgive him, he did that.
(Warning: profanity):
Vietor said he understood Biden’s decision on a “human level” but was frustrated that the president made his defenders within the Democratic Party look “stupid” by breaking his promise not to pardon his son.
“Now everyone looks stupid. Everyone looks like they’re full of shit,” Vietor said.
Note to Vietor: That’s up to you Are full of it.
And Republicans will operate this to argue that it was politics as usual when Democrats warned about Trump’s corruption or threats to rule or democracy. And I think that’s the part of it that frustrates me the most: Joe Biden looks like a typical, Lying politicians.
Another note to Vietor: Biden doesn’t look like a typical lying politician – him Is one.
And I think that leads to the cynical feeling that all politicians are bad. They are all the same and that goes without saying.
Poor, indigent Obama brothers.
Biden has angered virtually everyone with this maneuver except Jill, Hunter, and Hunter’s wife, and many even on his own side are whining that he has just destroyed his legacy. (I would argue that his legacy would be terrible no matter what, but that makes it much worse.)

Biden’s pardon of Hunter is too much even for CNN’s partisan anchor Jake Tapper – President told a “lie.”
Meanwhile, Brother Jon Favreau, Obama’s former speechwriting director, said Biden should have pardoned a number of other shady agents if he wanted to show his son clemency.
Co-host Jon Favreau called it “extremely annoying” that Biden chose to pardon his son over “a whole bunch of other people who were just government officials doing their job,” such as: Anthony Fauci.
You include me there, Jon. The criminal Fauci should be prosecuted to Dante’s Ninth Circle – and no apology should ever be made for what he did to America.
Favreau said he believed Biden when he said he wouldn’t pardon his son and now feels like an “idiot.”
“I believed him. I feel like an idiot, it makes me angry,” he admitted.
You should feel like an idiot, Jon, because if you were stupid enough to believe the lying president about this, then that’s your fault. And this stupid attitude is yours too:

It’s been so satisfying to watch the collapse of liberals since Donald Trump won the presidential election. It is tough not to feel a lightweight feeling in the heart as the progressive tears break out and the copy is swallowed. While Biden’s pardon of Hunter is a corrupt act, especially after lying to the American people about it for so long, it’s still a bonus to see Progressive World freaking out.
To the Obama brothers, I would say: Biden has proven once again that he is exactly the president you deserve.
