Washington (AP) agents of the drug authority, the arrests of immigration, IRS agents who are present on documents, the military escorting deportation flights. Since the Trump government is working on the president’s obligation to act against illegal immigration and carry out mass shifts.

President Donald Trump’s comprehensive promises have led to an entire approach to enforcing immigration into an entire government approach. In other words, almost every large cabinet agency is an immigration authority in Trump’s government.

The departments for state, defense and justice have made immigration a clear priority for their work and public news. Parts of the departments of the Ministry of Finance and Health and Human Services were involved. The range and the focus on immigration are only expected, with the Republican President signing an executive regulation overdue Wednesday that aims to illegally end the federal benefits for people in the United States.

“The width of what happens in these first weeks is much wider than we saw in the first Trump government,” said Colleen Putzel-Kavanaugh, Associate Policy Analyst at the migration Policy Institute.

Here you can see how the enforcement of immigration is going on in the entire federal government.

Immigration as a priority of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Trump has promised “mass shifts”, which means that not only as many people in the USA are illegally arrested as possible, but also find out how to remove them from the country.

The Foreign Ministry comes into play there.

Marco Rubios was the first international journey as a foreign minister in Central America, and he decided with shops for Guatemala, Panama and El Salvador to accept deported from other nations. This helps the officials to address an essential barrier: Many countries do not take their citizens back.

Other problems were part of Rubios Reise – for example the Chinese influence on the Panama Canal – but the migration was at the top of his agenda.

Tom Warrick, a former civil servant of the top terrorism, who is now in the Atlantic Council, an impartial think tank, said this is not always the case.

“For DHS, especially for ice cream: ‘What do you need abroad to do? OK. Foreign Ministry, now they are necessary to make this top priority, ”he said.

Trump’s election for Rubios Deputy, Christopher Landau, was ambassador in Mexico from 2019 to 2021 and played a key role in the implementation of the rest of the politics in Mexico and, like Rubio, speaks Spanish fluently.

This is another sign of the importance of immigration, said Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, which is committed to less immigration.

“Only the fact that the two are the No. 1 and 2 people of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs suggests the government’s repocus on our own back yard,” said Krikorian. “And immigration control is a large part of it.”

And from the Diplomatic Security Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 600 agents were coordinated on Tuesday by Kristi Noem, secretary of the home protection authority, to support the illegal arrest and deportation of people in the country.

A covered military role

The Ministry of Defense has played a role in border security since the administration of George W. Bush, with troops of dynamic service and the national guard being sent to the border between the USA-Mexico to support border protection officials.

However, this administration took top -class steps early on.

The Pentagon has improved the number of troops at the border and promised more. Instead of relying exclusively on immigration and customary disruption, aircraft were used to carry out 26 deportation flights – a scarce step.

On his first trip as Minister of Defense, Pete Hegseth visited troops on the border and said that all departments were on the table to facilitate. This includes Guantanamo Bay, where officials sent 13 deportation flights from migrants who describe them as “the worst of the worst” – although they have given little information about their identity or crimes.

The executive orders of the administration of the administration describes other possible changes to the Ministry of Defense.

Trump’s declaration of a national emergency on the southern border shows that he can redirect money for the construction of the border wall, which he did during his first term. And he gave Hegseth and Noem 90 days for recommendations for recommendations, which is necessary to take full control over the southern border, including the question of whether he refers to the uprising law. This would enable the officials to avoid rules that restrict military participation in civilian law enforcement tasks.

Warrick said that the general public was largely okay when the Pentagon takes part “behind the scenes”, but that could change if the role becomes more noticeable.

“There is a very clear line that exists in the head of the American people who do not want to see uniformed military population who arrest migrants, especially in their houses and schools and houses of worship,” said Warrick.

Ministry of Justice and “sanctuary cities”

A few days after the swearing into the office, Attorney General Pam Bondi aimed at what the administration considers as essential obstacles: cities and states that do not work with the enforcement of immigration to illegally identify and deport people in the country. These are often referred to as protective cities.

Bondi announced a lawsuit against the Attorney General and Governor of New York because of a state law that enables people who may not be legally in the United States in order to receive the leaders. Days before the Ministry of Justice on Chicago and Illinois aimed and claimed that their “protective laws” were thwarted by federal efforts.

“This is a new doj,” said Bondi, who appeared with Tammy Nobles, whose 20-year-old daughter Kayla was killed by a man in 2022 who illegally entered the USA from El Salvador.

Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation; Alcohol office, tobacco, firearms and explosives; The administration of the drug authorities took part in top -class ice operations in order to find and arrest migrants in the country illegally.

Putzel-Kavanaugh said these agencies used to play in harmony with their priorities such as persecution of a drug accusation. Now it is a “much more known and much more uniquely focused agenda for the doj,” she said.

The administration also commissioned the prison office of the Ministry of Justice to keep imprisoned migrants, to improve the capacity of the immigration and enforce the customs authority.

Other departments are also involved

Even the Internal Revenue Service was used as part of the immigration enforcement – Noem asked the arm of the Ministry of Finance to support employers who deal with illegal attitudes and monitor immigrants in the country illegally.

And the administration this week has released a program from the Ministry of Health and Human Services that offers legal services for traveling children with migrants alone.

What could be next?

Krikorian said he was looking for the Ministry of Labor to take on a larger role, especially since the implementation of the construction sites becomes a larger administrative strategy.

And for the educational department, which makes the efficiency of the Elon Musk department for state efficiency accessible to federal loan data on federal loans, the students’ lawyers fear that the administration will employ this information to illegally identify people in the country.

In the Executive Order signed on Wednesday, Trump tries to “end all of the taxpayers’ benefits for illegal extraterrestrials”, but it was not clear what advantages would be targeted. People in the country generally do not qualify illegally except for medical emergency care. Children are entitled to free K-12 public education, regardless of the immigration status in the context of a judgment of the Supreme Court of 1982.

The order indicates all departments and agencies to identify the federal government’s benefit expenses that do not match a 1996 social law, which illegally refuses to most public services for people in the country.
