Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin is a cautionary tale. A cautionary tale that mental illness, if left untreated, can spiral out of control until you get the idea… well, whatever that is.
Rubin let her Republican desangement syndrome take over on her “Green Room” podcast, proving that she might want to switch from one green room to one with white upholstered walls.
The Post’s top editor opened the latest episode with a tirade about President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet members, calling them “a bunch of clowns and freaks.”
She then laid claim to the throne of Queen of Clowns and Freaks and called on the media to “make it clear to ordinary voters” how much they screwed up by putting Trump back in the White House.
“For people who don’t get political news, who never pick up a newspaper, who never turn on CNN, who never care about Fox News,” she said of those she sees as uninformed. “These people really have no idea what’s going on, and that means we have to make an effort – not to suck up to these people, not to make excuses for them – but at least to communicate the basic facts.”
Of course, Rubin hasn’t communicated basic facts in well over a decade. The newspaper she works for even longer. Remember, this is a woman who managed to force her way into the post by pretending to be one conservative for years before it comes out of the closet in 2020.
When he came back, elderly Jenn said the voters would do this So It’s stupid that the media will have to make their messages very plain in the future.
“It’s that simple. You can’t talk about broad topics. You have to boil it down to the essentials and be concise. What do I mean by succinct?” she asked. “How about this – the Republicans want to kill your children. That’s actually true.”

Apparently Rubin bought a one-way ticket to Gaslight City. Accusing Republicans of wanting to kill children while supporting a Democratic Party that literally supports killing babies and mutilating children’s bodies if they are allowed to grow up is a next level thing.

It’s safe and sound to say this woman is not doing well. This has been obvious for some time, but even more so after Trump won the election. Just days after his victory, Jennifer took to social media to warn that Hitler was coming… or something.
“It’s 1933. Hitler is in power,” she wrote on X, setting the stage for what was to come. “No time for a damn seminar on the Democrats’ miscommunications.”
Esteemed Sister Toldjah notes that it’s not surprising that Rubin has gone off the rails, “but there are times when it really needs to be addressed and brought into the spotlight, just to further show how far the sell-offs are.” “Slid off the cliff by NeverTrump.”
This latest podcast is one of those moments. One hates to give her oxygen, but watch the entire segment if you want to witness a textbook examination of madness.
Aside from Republicans trying to kill your children, Rubin claims they will bring back polio, that “people will die,” and that President Trump will destroy America so he can stand alone “on the rubble.”
This is the kind of hysteria that leads people like Ryan Wesley Routh and Thomas Matthew Crooks to try to take matters into their own hands to prevent the next coming of Hitler.
And this is no exception for her. It’s the rule. The Washington Post understands that Jennifer lost several screws some time ago.
Come to think of it, this isn’t even the first time Rubin has said that Republicans want to kill children.
“Now he wants to kill your children” she wrote of Trump’s desire to reopen schools during the pandemic. You may remember that in 2020 she practically cheered for more Republicans to die from COVID.
