Just when you thought it was unthreatening, radical leftists are preparing for protests on Inauguration Day

It will be a long four years for the radical left. They vowed that Donald Trump would never see the inside of the Oval Office again. No wait, that was the Democrats, oh, same difference. They still haven’t gotten over Trump’s landslide victory and the popular vote victory that got him there. Now they’re making plans for Inauguration Day. As you’d expect, these plans involve plenty of mischief, chaos and violence, and they’re actively recruiting in the one place you might expect: college campuses.

Another not-so-unexpected thing is the groups that appear to be at the forefront of recruitment. They all have one thing in common: they all have a violent past. Flyer with QR codes are on the rise around George Washington University. When you scan the code you will be redirected to several links including the Folk Medicine Collective (PMC), DMV Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP)and the Socialist Action Initiative (SAI). Several flyers scream at the reader with headlines like “What Now?” Another reads: “Fight against fascism! Start today!” A third flyer reads: “Turn your anger into action!”

A brief history of these groups reads like a who’s who of radical left organizations. The PMC recruits medical professionals to provide medical care to protesters when they engage in violent protests with police. They’re pretty proud of supporting “dozens” of demonstrators at a “Capture Netanyahu” protest in July. During this protest there was violent clashes with law enforcement, Vandalism of statues and burning of American flags. DMV SJP is no stranger to the George Washington University campus. They organized one pro-Palestinian camp in April and over 30 in May Students were arrested when They failed to pay off the stock. Four were arrested on charges of assaulting police officers. All Three of these groups were involved Following Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel, pro-Palestinian protests erupted in Washington and there were numerous possible illegal activities.

But make no mistake. These aren’t just groups of ragtag college students taught by left-wing professors to hate Donald Trump, Republicans and conservatives. There are some highly organized groups behind it. Household names like the American Civil Liberties Union, Planned Parenthood, the Women’s March, and the National Women’s Law Center, to name a few. She Everyone plans to be on the streets from Washington, DC, on January 20, 2025.

The election of Donald Trump in 2016 caught many of these left-wing groups by surprise. This surprise quickly turned into anger and anger when extremely violent groups like Antifa took to the streets. But 2024 is very different than 2016. In 2024, Trump not only won a landslide electoral victory, but also won the popular vote overwhelmingly. The expected crowd of 50,000 people will consist mostly of Trump supporters to witness the culmination of the greatest political comeback they have witnessed in American history. Is there really a chance they’ll let a few left-wing snowflakes ruin the party?

The “resistance” isn’t just constrained to college students who have been indoctrinated to be enraged about Trump’s election. House Democrats are preparing for their own anti-Trump movement. My colleague Jeff Charles has been reporting on House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) taking the lead in trying to find different ways for House Democrats to counter a GOP majority in the House and the Trump agenda can put some obstacles in the way. But if Republicans take control of the Senate, it will be that much harder for them to resist.

Law enforcement will undoubtedly be ready for Inauguration Day 2025. But I’m confused, don’t these protesters represent the same party that told us election denial was wrong?
