Kathy Griffin, who, believe it or not, once considered herself a comedian, has stepped out of the shadows to survey the American scene as we enter a fresh Trump world.
Griffin posted a video on social media this week that provides insightful commentary and level-headed analysis. Just kidding. She did what she normally did, ranted like a deranged lunatic.
The “My Life on the D-List” star was quick to warn that America was slowly moving toward dictatorship and suggested that a second term under Donald Trump would mean the LGBT community would no longer walk the streets without her could risk life and limb.
“I don’t think our beloved country America knows what lies ahead with a fascist society and a fascist dictator. I’m not exaggerating. “I’m not being dramatic,” she began, her expression disheveled and guarded both hyperbolic And dramatic.
Griffin complained that Kamala Harris probably lost because people didn’t vote and were too cowardly to stand up to Trump. You know, like she’s doing now…on social media…days after the election. So brave. So breathtaking.
“Gays, you may not be safe. “Being gay in America, let alone being trans because of their obsession with trans people, will no longer be a safe thing in America,” she warns. “Being a woman in America is going to be even more unsafe than it already is.”

That gays can’t take to the streets because Trump is president might come as a surprise to people like activist Scott Presler, who deserves a Presidential Medal of Freedom for literally driving his car across the state to to achieve the registration of Republicans to vote in Pennsylvania.
It could also come as a surprise to former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, who was the first openly gay member of a presidential cabinet — sorry, Mayor Pete — under Trump’s first administration (and whose name is in the running for that office). of several cabinet positions in the second).
Susie Wiles could argue that women aren’t sheltered in Trump’s America. Wiles was just named chief of staff to the president-elect, the first woman ever to hold the post.

Griffin urges people who may feel the same way she does to “gather support” and “if you’re afraid to take to the streets, become more politically active.”
The counterfeit comedian has raised support for her own problems in the past, insightful last year that she was diagnosed with “complex PTSD.”
She linked that diagnosis to her public downfall after an ill-advised stunt in which she held a replica of Trump’s severed bloody head.
When the stunt came to airy in 2017, it was widely criticized, with Griffin posting the graphic and shocking image as if it would be taken as a comic joke.
The opposite happened, and people on both sides expressed disgust at the image. This sent Griffin into a panic and she gave a less than genuine apology when she realized her career was on the line.
When she realized that as a toxic creature she would still lose her job, Griffin was spiteful withdrew her apology and has refused to express remorse ever since.
And now we are back to the statement: “He is a fascist. He is a dictator. Gays will die.”
The jokes – most of them with Carrot Top somewhere in the punch line – practically write themselves. But I’d like to think I’m above such juvenile antics. I’m not, but I’d like to think so.

Perhaps the most compelling part of Griffin’s public meltdown is when she calls out Taylor Swift for helping elect Trump, which she admits will be rejected by Swifties.
“I know this is going to get me in trouble, but I really wish Taylor Swift had done an event with Vice President Harris in Pennsylvania two months ago,” Griffin said. “She’s so powerful and it’s not fair that the weight of the world falls on the shoulders of a pop star.”
Yeah, because after the election everyone was like, “You know, if only Harris could have done that.” one more Appearing with a quixotic celebrity who has no idea how much butter costs would have sealed the deal.
Beyoncé, Lizzo, Bruce Springsteen, J-Lo, Cardi B and Usher didn’t make it. But Swift certainly would have prevented the landslide and subsequent red wave on Election Day.
Griffin concluded, “I just didn’t realize how racist and misogynistic America still is.”
It’s comical that the left has come out and called well over half the country racist and misogynistic, almost as if they were all given the same argument about how to react to their defeat. They have repeated this assessment incessantly.
