How petty are the Trump-hating co-hosts of ABC’s “The View”?
Petty enough that the ladies couldn’t resist attacking Timothy Cardinal Dolan, the archbishop of New York, for inviting former President Donald Trump to the 79th annual Al Smith Dinner, a Catholic charity event traditionally attended by both Presidential candidates from the major parties are invited.
Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris was also invited but didn’t attend, sending a silly video instead.
Co-host Joy Behar opened the bitter celebrationsand mocked Cardinal Dolan and the Ten Commandments.
Thank you, Cardinal Dolan, for this wonderful moment. So does this Catholic Church event normalize a man who has already broken 11 of the 10 Commandments? What do you think?
As the audience’s laughter predictably followed, racist and anti-Semitic co-host Sunny Hostin spoke up.
I think so. I hate to break tradition because it is a tradition, and it is a tradition that both presidential candidates come to this special dinner. But sometimes it’s time to break with tradition. There can be no criminal, no liar, no serial cheater – you know, he had Melania by his side. His third wife, whom he cheated on with Stormy Daniels while she was pregnant. I just believe that he goes against everything and goes against everything a Catholic believes in and cares about. He is not a faithful man.
Behar scolded: “He should know that.”
Wait. What does the Bible say, Joyless? “Who (“she” in your case) who is without sin, let him cast a stone first”? Yes, that.
Pseudo-Republican Ana Navarro spoke next:
But listen, this dinner raised funds for Catholic Charities and some of the work the church does for those most in need. When I was in high school I actually worked with Catholic Charities. Sister Georgie Blaser sent me there, it was run by Sister Barbara Dowson in San Francisco. They support immigrants. So when Donald Trump sits there and we act like he’s some kind of upstanding citizen, I find that pretty insulting. I’m glad Kamala Harris wasn’t there.
Of course, Navarro was glad Harris wasn’t there. She would undoubtedly have made a bigger fool of herself than the silly video that was booed.
Finally, former Republican Rep. Alyssa Farrah Griffin spoke out to complain that Trump had suggested in recent days that Harris would skip the event.
In the last few days, the Trump campaign has been so raucous: “Kamala Harris is skipping this Catholic event.” Well, she was in the swing state of Wisconsin. And I would say that’s a better exploit of their time than showing up to a Catholic event, making a racial slur about President Obama, cursing all the time, making crude jokes and insulting people.
I imagine the ladies, no doubt not the Lone Rangers on the left, were just as irritated that Trump hit the ball out of the park during his remarks. The former president was downright hilarious as he poked fun at Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz.

Look, you knowledge Trump is entertaining when even CNN’s TDS is messed up Brian Stelter it says.
I thought he was entertaining! I thought he actually made some great jokes! He said that in his opinion the best moment came when he made featherlight of the attacks. He thought that despite the trauma of such an experience, he was still able to have a “light moment” about it. “And he took advantage of the fact that Kamala Harris wasn’t there.

When Harris is booed at the Al Smith Dinner
After all, not even Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was able to hold back from laughing at a few of Trump’s jokes.
In the meantime, the growling and complaining simpletons of “The View” will continue to growl and complain. What if Donald Trump wins the election? Oh my God, how amazing the ladies’ four-year encore is going to be.
