On Tuesday, there will be congressional primaries in Oklahoma and Virginia, as well as runoff elections for three congressional districts in Georgia.
Some of the key races to keep an eye on:
- In Georgia, runoff elections will be held in Districts 2, 3 and 14 – in District 2 between Republicans Wayne Johnson and Chuck Hand, in District 3 between Republicans Brian Jack and Mike Dugan, and in District 14 between Democrats Clarence Blalock and Shawn Harris (the winner will face incumbent Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene in the general election).
- In Oklahoma, GOP incumbent Tom Cole, who has held the seat since 2003, faces a challenge from self-funded Paul Bondar in the Fourth District.
- In Virginia, the Republican Senate primary will feature Trump-backed Hung Cao and Ted Cruz-backed Scott Parkinson; the 5th District will feature incumbent Republican Bob Good and Trump-backed State Senator John McGuire; and the Democratic primary in the 7th District will feature none other than Eugene Vindman, brother of Alexander Vindman.
