Lock him up! Voters want Merrick Garland removed from office and thrown in jail for protecting Biden

What can I say about the arrogant and defiant Attorney General Merrick Garland that hasn’t already been said? I would call him a weasel, but come to think of it, I have nothing against weasels.

Those who had something to say about Garland were a majority of voters who voted in the last Rasmussen Reports In the poll, they expressed concern that the controversial attorney general refused to release the equally controversial Joe Biden’s statements about his classified documents scandal, which led to a special prosecutor refusing to bring charges against him because he believed a jury would not convict an “older man with a bad memory.”

By a 47 percent to 31 percent margin, voters told Rasmussen they thought Garland was guilty, and 44 percent said he should be sent to prison for failing to turn over Biden’s interview recording to Congress, leading to a charge of contempt of Congress. Thirty-five percent of voters disagreed.

The answers broke sharply along party lines, Rasmussen said in the analysis.

Sixty-eight percent of Republicans, 32 percent of Democrats and 42 percent of independent voters believe Garland is guilty of contempt of Congress.

Sixty-two percent of Republicans say Garland should be removed from office and sent to prison for refusing to comply with congressional subpoenas. That opinion is shared by 34 percent of Democrats and 37 percent of voters who do not belong to either major party.

Fifty percent (50%) of Democrats, 24% of Republicans, and 30% of independent voters have a positive impression of Garland.

The poll of 1,087 likely voters was conducted on June 13 and 16/17. The sampling margin of error is +/- 3 percentage points at a 95 percent confidence level.

Garland has repeatedly denied (lied) that he and his Justice Department were on a mission to “get Trump,” which is an absurd claim at best. We only have to look at the differences between the recovery of Trump’s classified documents in an FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago and the recovery of open boxes of classified documents by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) from Biden’s garage and numerous other locations.

Even though Trump’s sham trial over so-called “hush money” and his subsequent conviction on 34 counts of violating campaign accounting law was a New York case, it is not complex to see that the lawfare approach to all matters involving Trump – in contrast to Garland’s ongoing efforts to protect Biden – has metastasized throughout the country’s two-tiered justice system.

The left is becoming increasingly bold, attacking not only Donald Trump, but also freedom of speech, the Second Amendment, and the foundations of a free press.

As I reported on Thursday, veteran Democratic activist James Carville is openly calling for the creation of a White House-led “enforcement mechanism” to force the lapdog media to directly lend a hand Biden defeat Trump in November.

This is profound and potentially terrifying. The same goes for the corrupt Merrick Garland.

The conclusion

Nine words: Thank God Merrick Garland is not on the Supreme Court.
