The Elon Musk-Vivek Ramaswamy team for the upcoming Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has many trembling in the quagmire. On Sunday was Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene recently appointed As chair of a House oversight subcommittee that will work with DOGE to reduce government waste, she has targeted the left-wing, partially taxpayer-funded National Public Radio (NPR).
Appearing on “Sunday Morning Futures” on Fox News, Greene said that NPR is under scrutiny:
Republican Rep. James Comer of Kentucky — who was tasked with creating the fresh Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the brainchild of Trump appointees Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy — tapped Greene to lead a House panel to advance the effort .
Greene spoke about her upcoming fresh role on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures” on Sunday, saying DOGE would scour the federal treasury across the board for budget inefficiencies.
“We’ll be looking at everything from state-funded media programs like NPR that spread nothing but democratic propaganda to grant programs that fund things like sex apps in Malaysia or toilets in Africa,” she told host Maria Bartiromo.
🚨NPR NEEDS TO BE DEFINED!🚨
“The congresswoman said government-funded media programs like NPR, which she claimed “spread nothing but Democratic propaganda,” would be under the subcommittee’s microscope.”https://t.co/A7ufB2oYsP

NPR is not the only company that will face DOGE scrutiny, she continued.
“All kinds of programs that don’t help the American people,” she said, also criticizing the Pentagon for failing its seventh consecutive audit.
“I want to talk to the people at the Pentagon and ask them why they don’t raise billions of dollars every year and why they fail the audit,” she said.
She also said she plans to exploit her fresh oversight power to hold governors and mayors of ultra-migrant-friendly so-called sanctuary states and cities accountable.

NPR doesn’t receives all of its funding from taxpayers’ money– Some of this comes from dues and fees paid by member stations and support from corporate sponsors – but that shouldn’t be the case any no public funding at all, because it’s basically a left-wing cesspool:

Watching DOGE in action in 2025 will be the most entertaining thing next year. Expect hardcore bureaucrats and level 11 snowflake journalists to freak out if Elon, Vivek et al actually have the audacity to recommend spending less on something.
I look forward to it. In fact, it’s already started, and Trump hasn’t even been sworn in yet:
