Is a postponement imminent?

We are seeing the Democrats continue to implode everywhere because of their presidential candidate.

Meanwhile, Republicans have rallied behind former President Donald Trump and just held a great convention that even CNN’s Van Jones had to praise for its spirit.

When even the left has to admit the obvious, you know the narrative is badly damaged and could be in trouble.

CNN’s Van Jones gets truthful: “The last time I was at a convention
“It felt like Obama 2008”

Now let’s add another one to this narrative beating.

CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg has just some surprising comments about the Trump assassination in a recent interview. He talked about how he had “done some things” in the past [in regard to elections]and that includes “not supporting any of the candidates.” He said he had no plans to participate in the election. But then he spoke about the “historic events” of last weekend.

“See Donald Trump “For someone to get shot in the face and stand up and raise their fist with the American flag in the air is one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen in my life,” Zuckerberg said Thursday during an interview at the company’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California, according to Bloomberg.

“As an American, it’s kind of hard not to be emotionally moved by that spirit and that fight. And I think that’s why a lot of people like the guy.”

Yes, it’s amazing, but you wouldn’t necessarily expect Zuckerberg to be the kind of person who would admit it publicly.

That may be an truthful belief. Or maybe just the belief that Trump will win and he needs to hedge his bets with this event. But I think it’s a sign of a shift coming when you have people like Zuckerberg who are willing to say something different from the Democratic arguments against Trump. A few years ago he would never have said that.

Even Bloomberg’s Emily Chang noticed this move.

Nevertheless, his comments join a growing chorus of Silicon Valley leaders, including Tesla Inc. billionaire Elon Musk and Venture capitalist Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz are increasingly liking the former president, and some of them have promised to donate to his election campaign.

Zuckerberg said they would make a change with their services.

Zuckerberg said Meta is making changes that he hopes will make Facebook less of a flashpoint in elections going forward. “The main thing people are hearing is that they actually want to see less political content on our services because they use our services to connect with people.” Meta already recommends less political content to its users, he added. “I think you’ll see our services play a smaller role in this election than they have in the past.”

The reactions were captivating. Not everyone believed that the conversion/movement was genuine, but most saw change in the air.
