Accidental stand-up comedian Maxine Waters (D-CA) is at it again, folks.
As out-of-control wildfires continue to rage across Los Angeles County, leaving death and destruction in their wake, Waters has predictably been doing what she does best: playing politics by blaming “the richest one percent” for the devastation. The veteran left-wing Democrat’s nonsense would be amusing if it weren’t so disgusting.
On NewsNation’s “Cuomo” on Friday, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) told host Chris Cuomo that she doesn’t want to go into politics (translation: she Exactly I wanted to go into politics) about the forest fires before I promptly went into politics.
waters started out hilarious:
I’m not into blame. I don’t want to talk about Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) trying to protect himself and run for president, none of that.
The first thing we need to understand is that services cost money and we should be willing to make sure the richest people in this country, the richest one percent that are protected, pay their fair taxes so that we can get the money may have to provide the services.
Annnd there it is.
The “rich must pay their fair share,” something Barack Obama made infamous during his intentionally divisive presidency — and the Democratic Party has continued to beat that dishonest drum ever since.
Waters continued:
With that money and those resources, the people chosen or elected to do the job should do the job. I don’t care who it is. It could be a Democrat, it could be a Republican, it could be whatever. However, the fact is that we should all have bulky hearts right now, but we should have faith and stay on point by making sure we do everything we can to support the people who need us.
Please, Maxine.
The 2024-25 California State Budget spends $297.9 billion Total state funding comes from approximately $211.5 billion from the General Fund, $84 billion from Special Funds and $2.4 billion from Pension Funds. How about California Democratic leaders spend some of it? this money on preventing and fighting wildfires instead of dealing with the ever-growing number of illegal immigrants and countless homeless people in the state?
Waters added melodramatically:
Damn, you can do the politics later. You can come by later and talk about Gavin Newsom. You can talk about the Democrats later.
Uh-huh. Nevertheless, Maxine “played politics” – Maxine always is playing politics – by once again blaming “the rich” rather than California’s crazy “climate change” projects, including the lack of controlled burns, adequate water supplies for firefighting and functioning fire hydrants.

Waters also played to “the working people,” which is always part of the Democrats’ “fair share” shtick.
Altadena has working people, people who may not have enough money to rent a hotel, perhaps for the coming months. I would like to ask you and any other members of the media who may be listening to do everything you can to bring attention to Altadena.
Not everyone is affluent and we have people who don’t know where they are going, people who are in a momentary situation and need support and finding housing. We have people who need food, we have people who need health care, and that’s what I’m focused on.
Speaking of “rich people,” Waters and her husband Sidney Williams have an estimate Net worth of $10 millionincluding $7 million in real estate assets.
Furthermore, the hypocritical congresswoman lives in Windsor Square, a diminutive, historic neighborhood in the Wilshire area of Los Angeles, rather than CA-43, the less impressive district she represents.
