We’re used to the commercial lamestream media shamelessly promoting the Democratic Party, but sometimes even they can make your jaw drop with their blatant propaganda efforts. In the case of this disgusting Time magazine cover and accompanying article, the obsequious fangirl coverage is so over the top that you wonder if it was actually put together by adults rather than teenagers.

Look at this glowing depiction of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. As the author of this tweet notes, did the artist confuse her with Tulsi Gabbard?

If you are like many other people, your first thought is: I have seen posters like this before. Oh yes, in the former Soviet Union.

The article is titled “Reintroducing Kamala Harris,” and like similar headlines and stories in newspapers, magazines and websites across the country, it attempts to portray a candidate who has been reborn, undergone a magical metamorphosis, transforming from an ugly caterpillar into a handsome butterfly.

But the reality is: Nothing has changed about this woman in the last 22 days, not her performance, not her embarrassing behavior, not her lack of performance as vice president – nothing. And yet the media seems to be pumping out story after story in lockstep about how electrifying and competent she has suddenly become.

Sometimes it actually feels like we’re living in North Korea or the former USSR because most major media outlets are blatant agitprop machines for the regime. By the way, I would find it equally disgusting if a media outlet treated a Republican with such obsequious admiration; that’s not journalism, it’s just fanfiction.

I feel like they at least used to pretend to be a little more neutral – I even liked Time magazine back then. But then I remember: Whatever the left touches, the left destroys.
