Poor Joe Biden. The rightly controversial aged boy just can’t catch a break. His equally disastrous presidential campaign team continues to be caught in one lie after another, while his approval ratings continue to plummet at breakneck speed.
And now, as we reported on Wednesday, a devastating fresh report from the Wall Street Journal confirmed that even Democratic allies were concerned about Biden’s degenerating cognitive abilities in closed-door meetings.

According to the Journal:
When President Biden met with congressional leaders in the West Wing in January to negotiate a deal to finance Ukraine, he spoke so quietly at times that some participants struggled to understand him, according to five people familiar with the meeting. He read from notes to make obvious points, took long pauses and sometimes closed his eyes for so long that some in the room wondered if he had tuned out.
In a February one-on-one meeting in the Oval Office with House Speaker Mike Johnson, the president said a recent change in his administration’s policy that put some major energy projects at risk was just a study, according to six people briefed on the events Johnson recounted at the time. Johnson feared the president had forgotten the details of his own policies.
When Biden negotiated with House Republicans last year over a debt ceiling escalate, his demeanor and attention to detail seemed to change from one day to the next, according to then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and two other people familiar with the talks. Some days he had casual, natural conversations with Republicans; on others he mumbled and seemed to rely on notes.
The White House responded to the Journal’s report in predictable fashion, accusing Republicans of spreading “false” information. On the contrary, the Journal countered, noting that the reports came from 45 people, including both Republicans and Democrats.
Beware of the excessive anger of “Morning Joe”
The crew of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” had none of them on Wednesday morning. With Joe Scarborough, who is suffering from Trump syndrome, at the wheel of the clown car, the crew presented a gloomy but also hilarious sight.

Let’s get to our top story from this morning. The Wall Street Journal has appeared with a fresh article entitled “Behind closed doors, Biden shows signs of slipping.” diary says they have spoken to both Republicans and Democrats who either attended meetings with Biden or were informed about them at the same time, but essentially only officially.
The diary writes, quote:
“Last year, when Biden was negotiating with House Republicans over a debt ceiling increase, his demeanor and command of the details seemed to change from one day to the next, according to then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and two other people familiar with the talks. Some days he had casual and spontaneous exchanges with Republicans; on others he mumbled and seemed to rely on notes.
“I met him a lot when he was vice president. I went to his house,” McCarthy said in an interview. “He’s not the same person anymore.”
Joe then shot out of the gate and said to Mika, “By the way, they also quoted Mike Johnson. People close to Mike Johnson admit that these are basically the Republicans in the House of Representatives who…”
Mika added: “Why didn’t you ask Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert?”, to which her husband grinned: “Exactly. It is, it is really shocking.”
Scarborough then began his own tirade.
I could talk forever about what Kevin McCarthy and others said about the negotiations with Joe Biden. I could also talk about what the French delegation said during the negotiations with him and what they told me.
And friends I have in this French delegation who were part of those negotiations and said Macron was like, “Wow! Okay. He’s a lot tougher than we expected.” And I think Macron somehow got stronger because of Biden’s tough pressure.
I can tell you the same thing about the Middle Eastern leaders I’ve spoken to. Nobody says he’s not convincing. And some people say he’s being a little too tough in the negotiations, the United States is exerting its influence a little too much.
Complete denial in the face of opposing opinions from a growing number of political figures on both sides.
As Scarborough became more animated, its despair became almost gloomy, the operative word being “almost,” which meant I enjoyed every minute of it.
I talked about my meetings with the president over the past year. … And I said in real time, the guy, the guy … I’ve spent time privately with Biden and Trump. I’ve spent time with every Speaker of the House over the last 30 years.
And Joe Biden — I’m not just — it’s just not close! If you want to talk about international affairs, if you want to talk about how to get bipartisan legislation passed, Joe Biden is lightweight years ahead of everybody!
Aha, Joe. The only area in which your Biden is “light years ahead” is his steady cognitive decline.
The conclusion
The “don’t believe your lying eyes” strategy of the Democratic Party and the quasi-official Democratic media is not only ridiculous; it is also disgraceful that an 81-year-old man, whose health is visibly degenerating, continues to adhere to this strategy.
And perhaps worst of all, can someone please explain to me why “Dr.” Jill Biden should not be charged with elder abuse?
