CHARLESTON, WV 9WOWK) – Governor-elect Patrick Morrisey is sharing more about his plans for his transition from attorney general to governor of the Mountain State.

Morrisey hosted a briefing Tuesday morning where he laid out further plans, including who will be part of his transition team. These include figures such as House Majority Leader Eric Householder, former West Virginia Republican Party Chairman Conrad Lucas, and CityNet President and CEO James Martin.

“I’m happy about it. I think we’ll have a really good team. I think you’ll see not only the co-leaders of the transition, but also the members of the transition team, who will be announced in due course.” “In the coming days or next week, we’ll have a lot of expertise, that we will bring in,” Morrisey said.

Much of Morrisey’s campaign focused on making West Virginia more competitive with other states and a more attractive location for business.
