Executive Order 14019 was signed by President Joe Biden in March 2021, during his first 100 days in office. The order authorizes federal agencies to participate in election campaigns for federal, state, and local elections, including in Federal Prisons. It is significant that you cannot access the Executive Order on White House dot gov. However, the United States Employment Equal Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has confirmed the purpose of this EO and the Implementation plan.

Executive Order 14019, Promoting Access to the Voting, sets forth the Administration’s policy to promote and defend the right to vote for all Americans who are legally entitled to participate in elections. The Executive Order also emphasizes the federal government’s responsibility to expand access to and education about voter registration and voting information and to combat misinformation to enable all eligible Americans to participate in our democracy.

The Executive Order calls the right to vote “fundamental” and a “foundation of American democracy” and highlights the challenges many Americans face in exercising this right, including people of color, people with confined English proficiency, people with disabilities, military personnel serving overseas, and other American citizens living abroad. The Executive Order cites several legal norms that protect and promote the right to vote, including the U.S. Constitution, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and the National Voter Registration Act of 1993.

The EEOC claims in this plan that it is not violating the Hatch Act in any way and that it very seriously. Now pull the other leg.

Republican politicians see things differently and are taking action. However, it has taken three years to prepare and much of the damage has already been done.

Republican attorneys general urge back through Lawfare.

On Tuesday, attorneys general from nine states — Iowa, Kansas, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina and South Dakota — filed a federal lawsuit asking a U.S. District Court in Wichita, Kansas, to override an executive order that uses federal agencies to register and mobilize left-leaning voters, with the support of the White House-approved left-wing organizations. The lawsuit accuses the Biden administration, among other things, of usurping Congress’s appropriations powers by failing to grant the executive branch the authority to fund the unprecedented GOTV initiative.

“We will not stand idly by and allow the federal government to become a giant election machine for the Democrats. We will make sure you follow the law.” Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen told me in an interview this week. “You have an executive branch that is far exceeding its authorized authority. That is something that has never happened at the federal level.”

In 2020, Zuckerbucks and left-wing attorneys general like Dana Nessel of Michigan and Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania (who is now governor) engineered a Biden-Harris administration through mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, and other means. Did you think they would abandon that winning formula? No, they just used the executive branch to federalize it. It’s entertaining how Democrats are clutching at pearls that a victory by former President and Republican nominee Donald Trump in 2024 would usher in a dictatorship, while Biden is already doing just that right under our noses.

Because, as the attorneys general argue in the federal court lawsuit, the executive branch “cannot take money appropriated by Congress and repurpose it for inappropriate purposes.” And they certainly can’t do that without following the laws that establish the procedures established by Congress. Nor can Biden and his team interfere with the state’s sovereign rights in conducting elections, including voter registration.

Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach (R) spoke exclusively with The Daily Signal about this abuse of the Constitution and bureaucratic abuses.

Known actions by the Biden-Harris administration, combined with secrecy, “create the impression” that the federal government has “its thumb on the scales” in the November 5 vote. Presidential electionssays Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach.

Kobach, a Republican, is leading a multi-state lawsuit to overthrow the president Joe Biden‘s 2021 election executive order.

“It seems like it might be designed to register more Democrats than Republicans,” Kobach said of Biden’s order in a phone interview with The Daily Signal on Wednesday.

The Attorney General of Kansas referred to a March lettercited in footnotes to the complaint, from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin of Illinois and other Senate Democrats to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland about voter registration through the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

“Durbin’s letter praises prison registration, and there are a disproportionate number of Democrats among those incarcerated,” Kobach told The Daily Signal.

Too little, too slow? Possibly, because there are still 82 days left until the elections in 2024 before the damage caused can be quantified.

“This is very late, but better late than never,” attorney Cleta Mitchell, chair of the Election Integrity Network, told The Daily Signal. “Anything that can be done to stop this use and abuse of taxpayer money for partisan political activities must be done.”

Kobach cited the secrecy of the EO and its implementation as the reason for the slow submission.

“One reason is we didn’t know what the impact would be,” Kobach said. “If the administration had done this under the Administrative Procedure Act, there would have been public notice and comment. They just move on.”

The Kansas Attorney General added: “It would be interesting to know how many people were registered [to vote] by federal agencies and when specific states were targeted.”

I would start in Pennsylvania first and then work my way through the other swing states. Let’s hope the grassroots election integrity organizations that exposed the errors and falsehoods of 2020 are equipped for this fight.
