New voter data information has been released following fresh polls showing Donald Trump leading Kamala Harris in key Pennsylvania counties shows that the number of voters registering as Republicans rose sharply in September. The numbers are impressive: The GOP is gaining almost twice as many fresh voters as the Democrats.

That’s obviously good news for Trump, who has made his triumphant return to Butler, Pennsylvania, and for Senate candidate Dave McCormick, who is closing the gap in his race to defeat Democratic incumbent Bob Casey. Data geeks can find the breakdown of voter registration numbers by county Here.
As RedState’s Bonchie reported Monday, a closer look at two leading counties in the Keystone State showed support there swinging in Trump’s favor:
According to a survey conducted and sponsored by Cygnal The Daily WireTrump leads in the key districts of Erie and Northampton. These were won by the overall winner of the 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020 elections, making them crucial battlegrounds in what is already the most crucial swing state.
These fresh voter registration numbers could well shift the momentum toward Republicans in these electorally crucial areas of the commonwealth. And Bonchie laid out why Pennsylvania is the key to winning the White House:
Whoever wins Pennsylvania will almost certainly win the election. Yes, analysts can play the card and replace this state with the other, but if a candidate doesn’t win The Keystone State, they’ll likely lose Michigan and Wisconsin too. That’s why the Trump campaign and surrounding PACs have spent far more in Pennsylvania than in any other state.
A closer look at last week’s voter registration numbers shows a good trend for Republicans, with the GOP outpacing Democrats 2-to-1 in fresh registrations. That’s a net over 7,000 fresh voters for the GOP and, according to the Upper Providence Township GOP, the best single-week numbers in all of 2024.

Some of these impressive numbers may be due to the work of one man, a RedState employee Scott Presler. Presler, a conservative activist who first gained attention by picking up trash in the most run-down areas of Democratic-run cities like Baltimore, aimed to turn Pennsylvania red by focusing on voter registration. He and his team were persistent in their efforts, even uncovering a possible attempt by state election officials to hamper the GOP’s efforts to attract fresh voters during Trump’s return to Butler. RedState’s Brandon Morse had the scoop:
According to Presler, he uncovered an attempt by the Pennsylvania Department of State to begin maintenance of its registration system during the Trump rally. As Presler explained in an interview with Human Events Daily, the registration site announced that the registration website is undergoing “maintenance” during Trump’s grand return to dampen the hype surrounding his appearance and hopefully lead to fewer registration sign-ups.
There will be more shenanigans like this in the coming weeks as Pennsylvania’s October 21st voter registration deadline approaches. Expect some shady things to happen as desperation sets in among those on the left as they see the numbers trend Republican.
IMPORTANT: As always, do not assume anything. Get out there and vote!
