Welcome to the eve of the inauguration, and welcome to the weekly RedState briefing — where we take a quick look at the most-viewed stories of the week, in case you missed any of them. Grab a cup of coffee (or something stronger if you prefer) and sit down with this 21st century weekend edition of your favorite publication (online)!

#1 – Wildfire ActBlue “Donation” Scandal Explodes, Implicating Elizabeth Warren While the Obama Brothers Go Crazy – by Bonchie

Why exactly are Democrats trying to get people to donate relief money through a partisan fundraiser? Especially because this process saves 3.95 percent, assuming that every single cent comes through untouched in the end. To put it mildly, that’s hardly the benefit of the doubt that ActBlue and these Democratic politicians should be given.

But while many suspected that these donation links, which require entering an email, were being used to build political contact lists, the manipulation could go much deeper than first expected. According to the DC Reporterone politician laid out how this affects the super PAC in question, calling it “the most evil asshole I’ve ever seen.”

#2 – Trump unveils list of people blacklisted by his administration as “suffering from TDS” – by Rusty Weiss

It’s absolutely thrilling to know that this man will bring his sense of humor to the political scene over the next four years. The transition from calling it “bird brain” to a very formal “Thank you for your attention to this matter” is just brilliant.

God loves him.

Of course, none of these names are a surprise. They range from the average “Never Trumper” to people who could potentially face treason charges.

#3 – Biden and Harris hold a wildfire briefing and total disaster ensues – by Bonchie

Therefore, taxpayers are forced to pay the salaries of government officials another country But American Disaster victims receive a pittance of $770 after losing everything. It is an absurd perversion of priorities that continues to play out in ways that are impossible for the public to ignore.

If anyone is still confused as to why Donald Trump won the 2024 election, this is one of the reasons why. The Democrats have projected their care and compassion (using other people’s money, of course) onto everyone But the people they are supposed to represent and protect. This is not a comment on Ukraine’s right to self-defense, which it undoubtedly possesses. It’s a commentary on how Americans always lose out when they’re the ones paying the bills.

#4 – HEARING: John Ratcliffe roasts Adam Schiff and sets the record straight on Hunter Biden’s laptop – by Bonchie

In case you’re not familiar with the details, Ratcliffe brings up Rep. Adam Schiff in the excerpt above. He was the “Chairman of the Intelligence Committee” who lied to the American people on various news programs and claimed that Hunter Biden’s laptop was a Russian information operation. This ultimately led to Schiff being censured and blocked from rejoining the committee after Republicans won the House in 2022.

Ratcliffe, who was DNI during Trump’s first term, was the only that a major intelligence official comes out and tells the truth about the laptop. He did so amid a barrage of attacks from the press that claimed he was misleading the public to protect the president, soon to begin his second term. In the end he was vindicated, while people like Schiff never apologized for the falsehoods they spread. That means Exactly why Ratcliffe is the right man to lead the CIA. This organization has been politicized and used as a weapon against Americans for far too long. Now is the time to get everyone back in line, and those who don’t want that can “find a new career.”

#5 – Biden insiders’ assessments of Karine Jean-Pierre’s term have begun – and they are brutal – from Sister Toldjah

By default, White House press secretaries are the faces of the people who occupy the Oval Office, and given Joe Biden’s state of mind, which was no doubt known to the higher-ups in his administration, it was significant for them to have someone at the top podium, who could provide the clear and concise updates that he didn’t give.

Instead, under Jean-Pierre’s leadership, it became a glorified gaming room, which did a disservice to the American people, who deserved to know what was going on but whose intelligence was constantly insulted.

In any case, I look forward to seeing what Karoline Leavitt has to offer as press secretary to President-elect Donald Trump. I suspect she will make the White House press briefings great again, which will be a refreshing change from the last four years.
